wow.. it's kinda sad that the Clippers are actually doing decent early in the season and yet the forum is as empty as usual... Anyways, the Clippers are 2-1 so far and lookin pretty good! We almost blew our early lead (which was huge) and won only by 8. What do you guys think?
Yeah I agree, But the Clips still ain't gonna get any attention from other peeps or the public unless they keep up the good work and do better. They're doing pretty good...but I think they can do even better. Their biggest lead was like 20+ and won by only 8? They gotta do better than that...i think. But I'm glad they won and I think they should have taken the Blazers also. It was a trip looking at the nba.com standings and see the Clips at (6) on the west...so if the playoffs start right now, they would be in it. Man, if they want that spot to really happen by the end, they gonna have to be better and beat some elite teams though. If we beat Pistons on Monday...then I'd be shocked and pretty convinced that something might be there. I ain't hopin' tho and know reality....I do hope they prove me wrong...that'll be tight! Kerry Kittles, get better and help us set this team on fire!! We can do this!! I really think Kittles is needed to push the team to another level... The Clips gotta keep winning like this till the end...it's gonna be hard tho, but they can do it if they have heart. I'm confident they'll do better than last year fo sho though without a doubt....hahaha.
Yeah, I think the reason we blew the big lead is cause coach Dunleavy was trying his bench out and "OOPS", the Warriors got a little too close.. but it's all good, we still got the W. Marko screwed up some plays/passes in the game and it's actually kind of a blessing in disguise cause he played Shaun Livingston quite a bit, all the way until he fouled out in the end actually. That's some good experience for him. I also agree that we need Kittles to take us to another level. I just hope he's worth the contract we gave him!
With everyone healthy, the team might not make the playoffs, but they'll be a good contender to remove other teams from the playoffs, and not be a pushover team. Injuries have always been a problem, every single year, and if Brand, Maggette and Wilcox can stay healthy till Kaman and Kittles return, and everyone can continue to stay healthy, it will be good. Livingston isn't doing too hot, too little assists in comparison to his turnover numbers.
It is early, but it's a promising start. We're about 2 and a half hours from tip-off against the defending champs. I'll come back and say i went too far if I'm wrong, but i am convinced the CLippers r gonna play a great game and will come away with a W tonight against Detroit. Clippers are not even at full-strenght yet and they're playing like a well-oiled machine minus a few errant Jaric passes :mrgreen: . I've been most impressed with Simmons thus far. What a heartbreaker... we had it.... I wanted to kill Marko... I've said it before and I'll say it again: Marko is a CRAPPY PG. He's not a PG and he shouldn't play as one!!! He's a backup PG at best. ARGH I HATE HIM!
