    Wow!

I was planning on watching the game but my best friend came over for a visit so I didn't watch the game. Went to NBA.com after my best friend left to see who won and I was really NOT expecting the Sonics to pull this one off. What a great suprise!

Looks like Fortsen had a great game and Rashard is still playing like an All-star. Maybe this team is a tad better off than I assumed . Well, it's only the 3rd game into the season so we'll see what this team is really made of.

Seattle just caught fire in the fourth quarter. They scored on 13 consecutive possessions.

One of the biggest wins in the Nate McMillian era. I watched the entire game and I can not remember a game where everyone who played (w/ the exception of Ridnour) really contributed.

Jerome James is a servicable center. He is tough to shoot over and he is getting back to his shot blocking form. I told everyone that Fortson is one of the best rebounders in the game. When he gets minutes he produces, period. That trade was the highlight of our past two offseasons. Vlad is playing well off the bench. Reggie Evans is SCORING! Daniels is playing his way into the starting lineup. Rashard Lewis is becoming more assertive. Ray is playing like Ray and not talking to the media. Flip gets an opportunity to rest his injury w/o the Sonics going into the tank. I'm very pleased with what I see.

The best quote from this early season:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Still displaying his humorous wit, Spurs guard Brent Barry stopped a reporter who had told him that Sonics guard Luke Ridnour had credited Barry for his transition from college ball to the NBA. Barry was a Sonic during Ridnour's rookie season last year, and the two were often spotted talking basketball before and after practice.

"He (Luke) had better start playing better if he's crediting me with his development," Barry said with a laugh. "He'd better start making some shots."

I havn't seen TD play that badly for a while, he has one of those bad nights once every season. Bad thing for him is the defense wasn't any different to what he normally gets, he was just off last night. Missed easy shots all round the basket.

    Good win by Seattle though.

Great win for the Supes. Nothin' like a good confidence builder in the beginning of the season. Although we did start off really good last year.
