They need to contain Allen Iverson, who exploded for 23 in the first half against the Pistons. If they let Iverson explode again, there will be a slim chance they'll take the W. Philadelphia 76ers: This will be a big game for the 76ers, who are 1-2 and need to proof to the critics that they will once again be a playoff team. Beating the Knicks will pretty much saying the Sixers are the best team so far in this young season in the Atlantic division. They will HAVE to play good perimeter defense against the Knicks. So far this season, their perimeter defense has be trash. They will also have to proect the ball better which they did last game. Lastly, they need some help from the rest of the starting line up, Andre and Marc Jacson need to take some off the scoring load off Allen Iverson. Right now, it seems like Glenn Robinson is what we need the most. My Predictions: I think the Sixers will take this one on the road. The Knicks are coming off a horrible lost. Their big mans aren't as good as our big mans, and they don't have great defense either. I say the Sixers take this one by 7 Sixers 98 Knicks 91
Yeah I can see a W aginst the 76ers especially when they take their aggression out on the Sixers. They lost by 34 on saturday. Trust me they will redeem themselves!
Both of these team are on two game losing streaks and will be hungry for a win,the Sixers will be playing at the garden and they always seem to struggle against the Knicks. Hopefuly the supporting cast will step up their scoring around Allen Iverson. The Sixers need to play perimeter defense if they want to be competitive.I expect Marbury and AI to be at each others throats early in the game.,if Allen gets hot he needs to keep shooting unlike he did last game against Detroit. Also the Sixers really need Sammy D to get healthy, you can tell that Marc Jackson gets tired easily and that really effects his game, are frontcourt without him is paper thin and Wallace X 2 took advantage of that Saturday. Sixers in an upset 94-88.
I'm looking foward to the Starbury/Iverson matchup. Luckily Starbury and Crawford can both score 20 and lead the knicks to victory.

Losing 2 games and losing 2 games with a 34 point home opener blowout are 2 different things. I'm going to say Knicks 90-80 over Philly.

They defeated the much improved Houston Rockets and the defending NBA Champions. While the Knicks lost to the Boston Celtics by a margin of 30+ Points and the 76ers barely won a game if wasn't for the last minute heroics of Korver and Iverson. As for the game, I'm going to say the 76ers will take this game by one point. As I've been on a hot prediction streak lately , I see Jamal Crawford causing some havoc. I think he will go for 25+ against the 76ers and miss the last second shot before regulation. Iverson and Jackson will be the players of the game. Knicks 98, 76ers 99

This was bound to happen. NY just came out hungrier than Philly. After suffering a franchise worst, home opening 34 point blowout against the Celtics. I knew the Knicks could not lose this game. Surpringly Mohammed was especially hungry today. Sorry but, the 76ers just didn't have a chance from the start.
