Game: Washington Wizards @ Miami Heat Date: Tuesday Nov. 9 Time: 7:00 PM EST Channel: Sunshine Network Get your preds in early My Pred: The Heat are a very tough team to beat at home. Once Wade and Shaq can light up the crowd in the first minutes of the game it should be smooth sailing to a franchise best 4-0 start. Heat by 12pts. Things to look for: . Keep your eyes on Rasual Butler and Udonis Haslem . How well Rasual Butler and Udonis Haslem defend Antoine Jamison and Jarvis Hayes . How well Miami defends against Pick-n-Rolls and Screens

Miami wins by 7 points, the Wizards have Brendan Haywood back and it will definately help inside as the bigs can challenge without worrying a much about foul trouble, even though they still have to worry. The Heat are at home, and the Wizards are still shorthanded, and even with Shaq not at full strength, a 75% Shaq is better than almost all the other centers in the league. Shaq had some words for Arenas, and Arenas should take it personally, and not be passive in the first half like he was last game. He should make it a one on one battle if he has too, because even though he doesn't move his feet on defense, Wade can't stop him on the other end either. Wade should go at Arenas all day because Gil just doesn't play good man to man defense, he should get the big's hesitating to challenge drives because of foul truble, and that should open up a lot for him and the team. This should be a very good game, and a nice battle between the PG's, maybe EJ will make the second defensive switch of his coaching career and put Hughes on Wade as opposed to Arenas, but we'll see.
I think Washington will learn from their mistakes last game and make this game even closer. I think Miami will win 99-94, on a couple of close baskets down the road by Dwyane Wade and Rasual Butler. I look for Jamison to have another big game(25-11), but the Heat still come away with the win.
Well, the Wizards had 24pts on our 17 TOs last game (and we had about 10-12 PTS in their TOs, not too sure about their TOs). I think if Miami can reduce the TOs we can have a nice spread. Don't forget Shaq is on 2 day's rest so he will be performing very well.
Has anyone noticed that the Heat is shooting really really well?? I guess Shaq has some to do with it but wow as im posting this, they are shooting above 50%.
LOL people would joke about the HEAT that they can't score more than 90 points at all last year but what a differnce we seeing this year. GO HEAT!
yea, also the Heat is 1 of 5 undefeated teams (factoring in they will win tonight), Dallas just lost to Orlando...
Udonis Haslem is averaging about 83% from the field in 4 games. He shot 8-9 FG 2-2 FTs 2 assists and grabbed 10 boards tonight. Dwyane Wade puts up another magnificant performance tonight with 22pts shooting 7-11-FG 8-11 FT% for 9 assists 2 steals 2 blocks. He needs to improve on his TO (4 tonight). Dwyane Wade is averaging about 65% from the field after tonight. Diesel went 8-13 FG 4-10 FT for 20pts 9 boards 4 assists. He turned it over 9 times though. He also had 3 blocks. Nothing big from Rasual and EJ tonight but our bench did a lot for us tonight. Heres a box score: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2004110914
Well teh games over... another steam rolled victory for Miami... we are unstoppable boys!!! Wade had another huge night. Haslem was huge... Miami rules!

Quoting og15:

I didn't watch this game, but what happened with Shaq and the 9 turnovers?
Some wacky passes, off. fouls, traveling like twice, some other stuff. btw Heat 103 > 93 Washington at one time we were up by 30pts but started slacking on defense. Miami shot 55% from the field and 33% from the 3 in 4 qtrs.
