Injury List Cleveland: Dajuan Wagner, Desagana Diop, Scott Williams Atlanta: Donta Smith, Tony Delk, Chris Crawford Street's Keys * Contain Walker. This guy is basically the only scoring option on the Hawks, and if we are able to stop him for the most part, this should be an easy game for us. * Pound the ball inside early and often. With Kevin Willis and the point-forward Walker starting with the honor of trying to guard Gooden and Ilgauskas, pounding the ball inside will be an easy way of scoring. * Attack the basket. If James and the rest of our perimeter players can penetrate into the paint, and draw fouls, we could end up playing against the Hawks 11th and 12th men, who are in no way whatsoever able to contain anyone. * LeBron need to try and keep Harrington from getting easy baskets, play defense as good as you play offense! * Don't under estimate the Hawks. We all know this should be an easy game, but this is the NBA, no team is a pushover. FINAL THOUGHT : After a 2 day break without playing a game, we should be rested and ready to beat the Hawks. This should be an easy game if we execute our game plan, play defense, and hit our shots. This is the Hawks home opener, so the crowd may be in the game, we should come out strong early and put the beat down on them. Prediction: Cleveland wins, 93-82 Visit Real Cavs Fans
Nice prview, Infante, and I agree, we should have no trouble beating the Hawks, and I'm looking for a big game for Lebron tonight... Cavs-102 Hawks-86
I don't know if we'll see a lot of drew gooden on the floor or not with walker and harrington at the forwards. Although Bron will probably take Walker on D, I still think we could see a good deal of Newble.
