Very hard to say. I don't think you'll see a lot from him this year, maybe a few highlights in junktime, but at the moment he is far from being ready to contribute. As long as he stays on the weights and continues to get stronger and takes in as much as he can from the sidelines this season, I see no reason why he can't play 15-20 minutes a game next season and contribute here and there. As for breaking out, at least three years away I would predict, but you never know.
My prediction is that "Casanova" Swift according to supersonic's sig is going to break out in 2 years maybe even next year, he has shown he can play thus leading to him being drafted so high and I've read an article on him at espn i think saying that he is impressing so he's going to find time.
I saw him twice during the preseason and I was very impressed with him. He's looks like a giant 12 year old, but he's physical and agressive. I'd never heard much about him before, but after seeing him, I think he's gonna be a double-double player in the future. Him and Collison in the front line is going to be very good.
From what I have heard, he is very fundamentally sound. The thing is how long will it take for his fundamentals to translate to the pro game. I say give him a two years to start contributing and then in about his 3rd season, I think he will the Sonic's 6th man. But I can't say much considering I haven't seen him play and only relying on hear-say.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BobbyEscobar:</div><div class="quote_post">He has Darko written all over him to me. Hes one of those kids who shouldve went to college</div> How can you tell at this point? Neither player will be contributing consistently for at least 2-3 years, I don't know how you can pass judgement at this point.

Let's just hope that w/ his new lucrative contract and the groupies that come w/ it that his face is the only place that is breaking out.
