I heard Arenas is now saying that he's playing hurt, he saw the real Wade the other day and now he's already trying to make excuses for today. Is that a point guard thing, to make excuses after getting schooled by Wade? I recall Baron Davis said the same thing during last year playoffs after getting schooled by Wade. Why dont they just give Wade the credit instead of making themselves look like fools.

I don't expect Wade to put the same performance because those kind of games don't come everyday but, it should be decent:

    26 pts, 6 rebs, 6 ass, 2 steals, 2 blocks

I don't know about Arenas but B Davis WAS hurt. In fact, honestly, B Davis outplayed Wade if you wanna talk about personal performance. But nontheless, people make excuses like that...my question is if u are hurting, why play.....???

I dont' get why he's using excuses... he should just say it, he cant play defense. Wade is too quick and explosive for him to guard. It's that's simple, and everyone knows it.

Arenas has just lost all teh respect I had for him... the little respect I did ahve for him is all gone now..

Actually Arenas is/was playing hurt, he got hurt and said he doesn't want to miss any games this season so he would still play, and he actually was the only WIzards to really produce offensively today, but when you're hurt offense is easier than defense.

Also Baron Davis was hurt the whole season and was basically on one foot during the playoffs, so I don't know where you're getting this "making up excuses", the medical staff checks players before a team will consider them hurting, and Baron was injured for a lot of the season, and was also actually injured.

EDIT: <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There's also the question of the Wizards' health, namely point guard Gilbert Arenas. Arenas bruised his left heel when he landed awkwardly while attempting a dunk in the first quarter Saturday. He finished with a team-high 27 points and practiced at full speed yesterday but has been walking with a noticeable limp the last two days.
"Right now, truthfully, it's about 35 percent," said Arenas, who claimed he will play tonight. "Whatever time I play, mostly I'll be playing on my toes unless this medicine works." </div>
