I know the thread is about Chandler, but I was hearing rumors that Curry wants to leave. If Curry dips, you should keep Chandler. Hell, we'd take Chandler and have him learn with KG.
Sabre, I heard the same thing. Both Curry and the Bulls agree that he needs to leave, and they were saying something about trying to get something done ASAP. We may be hearing something any day. Memphis showed real interest, and has plenty of pieces to send back to Chicago in return.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting BBall Guru:</div><div class="quote_post">I said that the team did bad. I mentioned them shooting 33%. Did you miss that? I also critized Deng. I don't care how long Curry had to get ready, he gets paid big bucks to perform every day. I work every day, my boss expects the same performance out of me. there is not "getting ready" I really hate that excuse, I don't think these people should be exempt from anything. That is not an excuse. Just like there is no excuse for punching some guy in the nuts while he's LAYING DOWN.</div> He's really not getting paid the big bucks yet cause he's still on his rookie contract. But, again, he only played 17 minutes, that's not a whole hell of a lot of time to do anything in a game. And to saad, quite frankly, I don't really think that management cares whether or not he's angering you. You need to give the kid some time. The season is early. He's still got plenty of time to turn it around. Just because he's gotten off to a rough start means nothing. He could go and explode here soon, than what, you gonna continue to criticize? Probably not, or at least I'd hope not. You need to give him a break. Anytime you miss 50 games in a year, it's going to take a few games to get back into the swing of things, and that's what he's going through right now.
I think they need to get rid of Curry i dont know about Chandler I think Curry is going to have a good year just because of his contract year after that i dont see him doing much i say trade him Then get rid of Chandler later that year I say John Paxson should get rid of all of Jerry Krause's dirty work even the everybody that is working in that building that was hired during the Jerry Krause ERA (parking lot attendents, ticket, beer man, even the cotton candy man) to wash away all the bad luck that guy brang to the Bulls AFTER JORDAN LEFT.
Off the subject.....but my friend is from Chicago and he was telling me that (by Chicagoans) Krause is the devil and seems like he wants the franchise to be miserable forever. He was saying that Krause wanted to break up the Bulls before they went on their second 3-peat. Didn't want to pay Pippen at all (Pippen's thoughts...how would it feel to be one of the top 5 players in the league and know that a guy names Concak is making more than me). My question is why would he want this to be? Doesn't me want to MAKE money.
NO, I think he wants to keep all his money he was paying JORDAN 33million for the 98 season 1 season He wanted to get all the money that he spent on Pippen,Rodman,Jordan,Jackson. After they left all he wanted to sign players to the minimum after their rookie year he didnt want to resign them (Brand,Artest,) the only rookie the paid was Fizer and over paid E-Robinson Just a big mess for John Paxson to clean up but i have faith and i think he'll bring this team back up the a Winning team

umm im not even gonna read the replies... this guy is pretty talented hes just a little too tall which doesnt do him so good. So no way, no trading him. its not just him, its the whole team that needs to do better... too many freakin rookies on the team, we need a leader.

"He's just a little too tall which doesn't do him so good." WTF? Yao Ming seems to be doing fine. Heigth has no factor on Chandler's lack of consistency. --------------- On a side note, Id be willing to trade Chandler....for the right offer.

But yea, height has nothing to do with how good he is. If anything, it'd help him. Because, when you're a C/PF, there's almost no such thing as too tall.

Neither have been consistant. I'd be willing to trade either of them, or both, for the right package. The only players I wouldn't trade, at this moment, are Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni, and Duhon. (of course there are exceptions.....but I am less inclined to want to trade them unless a GREAT offer was presented).

They have each shown signs of being good, for example, the game the other night. The big thing that kills them though, year in and year out, is their lack of consistency. The other problem I have with them is they aren't aggressive enough on defense. Neither of them get a lot of blocks for being their size, and neither of them get nearly enough rebounds. They are each capable of 15/10, but neither of them have yet to be able to accomplish it consistently.

Curry has shown little effort on both the glass and the defensive end.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting TwinTowers:</div><div class="quote_post">Why trade Chandler? I know everone says this every year but sonner or later watch out.</div> Sooner or later....we've been saying that for three years. How much longer are you actually willing to wait on this kid? I agree that he could still be good, but, who knows now. He's been given three years, and I'm not sure if you can give him much more than this year.
