Well Flip Suanders has got to take the handcuffs off Sam Cassell's game. I know he trying to win using a balance style. And all but they try that last year and they struggle then too. I know he wants to play off KG alot but do they have to do it every single time down the court. Its the Sam thing every trip Cassell dribbles up the floor throws it to KG in the post and then Sam moves all the way over to the weak side and becomes a spot up shooter out on the perimeter. That Troy Hudson's style not Sam Cassell. Flip has to let Sammy lose. Cassell has really only had one strong quarter of play all year in my opinion and that was last game in the 2nd quarter vs the Hornets. And that was when KG was on the bench and Sammy was n their with the 2nd unit. And Flip had to let Sammy go to work. Sammy dropped 13 in the quarter. Any Sammy needs the ball in his hands more so he can get threw seems in the pick & roll. It will make the Wolves offense flow alot better. And if he isnt going to let Sam be Sam then put him on the bench and let him role with the 2nd unit. Defensively the Wolves are giving up to much perimeter penetration, Sammy specifically. I think the Wolves go to do a better job of cutting off penetration because they have no weakside resistence once a player gets to the hoop. Kandiman cant block shit. So the perimeter players need to do a better job of cutting down perimeter penetration. And the Wolves stink on the backboards as well. Sprewell is to athletic not to help KG & Kandiman rebound. Nobody on the Wolves perimeter is getting it done defensively or from a rebounding standpoint as far as helping KG & Kandiman. They all trying to hurry up & get out in the opencourt for offense. BTW, Flip needs to stop playing and put Hassell back into the starting lineup. His defense doesnt have the same effect coming off the bench its that simply. And the Wolves team defense suffers because of it. Wally just has to suck it up. And play as a 6th man. And maybe he should get a goal to become 6th man of the year or something. Tonight was a perfect example, Stephen Jackson got so hot in the 1st quarter that it didnt really matter when Hassell came in the game to check him cause he was already feeling it. Hassell needs to be in the game checking teams best perimeter scorers from the opening tip.
