unfortunatly i doubt the Jets will get Jordan as much as they want to get him. Hes really a great rb, he averaged 5.9 yards per carry this year. Martin i think was 4.6. Not taking anything away from Curtis "My Favorite" Martin but Jordan is a great back. Hes gonna do very well anywhere he goes. I wish the Jets could get him back but i understand Jordans point of view, hes been a backup for 4 years i think and hes done pretty well coming into the game. He deserves a chance to be a starter. Hope the Jets can convince him to sign and be the backup for a couple more years and then start when Martin is slowing up.

Sounds a lot like the Emmitt Smith / Troy Hambrick saga in Dallas. You can't evaluate Jordan properly until he is the man. Dallas learned that the hard way.

I seemed to have missed the part where Curtis Martin is showing signs of slowing down.

If Jordan leaves just think of it this way, At least he wont be throwing any more picks in New York! JK [IMG]

On a More serious not Lamont Jordan is a very explosive back and could proably be a 1000 yard rusher if he finds the right team, right now from what iv'e heard the Bengals, Dolphins, Bucs, and Raiders are interested in him.

I get the feeling hes a 300 carry, 1500 yard back behind a good offensive line....I would like to see him in Miami, but not at the price hes looking for....

I don't think anyone's crazy enough to cough up $12 million for him, but I'm sure someone will make him a fair offer and give him the chance to start.

I agree...the Raiders would be a good fit.
