solid performance by almost everyone, but too few minutes for Carter, i wish he would have played more, especially during the end of the game, Raps win 104 95, giving the Jazz their first loss of the season.
I hear ya, good game for the raps, their ability to win after a loss to sacramento. We had it hard too cuz the refs kept blowing the whistle at everything against us. The Utah r really good floppers, even if u dont touch them they fake like they get hit really good. Good thing we outplayed them enough to win.
I would never have thought that the raps would win but they actually did. once again the bench helped the raptors. Bosh played well despite foul trouble, but donyell marshall pulled a hamstring and may be out. but great work by the raps.
raps win, cb4 dominates and lammond leads the benchwarmer revolt. i loved seeing vince and jalen sitting the last quarter, they didn't share the ball at all.
Chris Bosh doiminated and got 20 points shooting 10-14 from the field, some of the calls were ridiculous though, Rafer should've gotten some calls he didnt and same goes for Jalen. Our Bench is amazing compared to last year, Milt is doing amazing.
wow, very nice victory for the Raptors...can't believe VC was on the bench but whatever works! Coach Sam is doing a great job so far!
"i loved seeing vince and jalen sitting the last quarter, they didn't share the ball at all." -deception Yo what did u mean by that?they hogged the ball from the team or they didnt pass it to each other? If your sayin that they hogged, i think thats not true because vince got 5 assists and if you ask me, thats called passing. Plus we need vince to start takin shots and step up. Chris Bosh is the one who is a ball hog. He takes a shot almost everytime he gets the ball. Milt, nevertheless, is amazing this season.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Buckets:</div><div class="quote_post">Chris Bosh doiminated and got 20 points shooting 10-14 from the field</div> key this kid is efficient when u run the offense through him. seriously if i was running the team i would try and get him at least 20 shots a game, take the 6 shots away from vince and jalen's off-balance jumpers. and rafer is proving to be the best bargain in free agency, okur got 60 million and rafer gets 6 years, 29 million and there is a uproar in toronto.

Vince wasn't hogging, but he wasn't moving the ball well, and he had the drive but kept doing floaters instead of going hard at the defense, the one time he went hard he got an AND 1
The thing that surprised me most was the points in the paint, 56/38 in favour of the Raps . And considering their up against guys like Boozer and AK-47, I'd say that's pretty damn good. Other than our shot selection at times (mostly by Rose and Carter), I'd say we played a good all round game. Nice to see Bosh and Woods bounce back from their last two games. Most importantly, we were able to step up when we needed to the most. Our line-up at the end played great D and executed well on offense thanks to Skip. I also wanted to see Araujo playing a little more. The guy can really bang down low and create space as well as set good screens for everyone else. I'm sure in time he'll become very useful for the Raps. btw, was there any word on how long Marshall will be out for? Cuz it'll suck without him coming off the bench.
Things are really starting to go the raptors way after how many years of bad luck. Loren Woods??? I never would have guesses it. Chris & Alston 4 life
Well done to the Raptors, they just played a better game, and forced the Jazz into a bad one. Utah are normally strong at home, so this was a great win for them coming off a loss to the Kings on the road. Chris Bosh played well, Carlos Boozer isn't the greatest at defense and he really exposed it, playing a big role in the Raptors win.
woods and palacio are both pleasant surprises. milt is still struggling with his shot, and finnishing around the basket, but certainly not like last year. he's driving lots, and he's getting to the rack too. woods...jeez, what can ya say. if he continues to avg 9 boards a game and keeps playing D the way he is, raps better sign him to a guaranteed contract. this was a good win, but honestly its not TOO surprising to me. we match up well with that team, and i think we got embarassed last night we played so poorly. i love coach mitchells system of using the bench so much. if you look at the box score, the minutes are so evenly distributed. tough loss in donyell though...i hope it doesnt last too long =
Will Araujo get more minutes now with Marshall injured? Who knows, but the Raps played great. Alston looks like a bargain with the way he's playing, and CB4 has been great thus far.

If they did in the 4th quarter what they were doing in the 1st to 3rd quarters. the Raptors would have lost. Bad shot selection from Jalen and VC made Sam go to his bench in the 4th. The only smart play that VC had was when he DROVE to the basket and got the and 1 at the end of the 3rd quarter. Other than that he still played like the same old VC, shooting fadeaway jumpers from 3 point land and going up soft inside the paint. And Chris Bosh is a ball hog? At least he took the ball inside and made some shots. Other than Rafer and Loren, he was the one Raptor that made smart plays out there. This was a horrible post, step your game up.

Versus the Blazers Bosh did get the ball and attempted 9 shots but 7 of them were outside jumpers beyond 15 feet.

good game, raptors were being called for everything, and i really thought we would lose until the 4th came around, good run for woods, bosh, and rafer to end the game with a win. Skip To My Lou's trey sealed our victory.
