C'mon guys i see alot of people allready tihnking about trades and how to improve the team i personally think we have a fine team that can be really good. We just need some time. I mean cmon look at sacramento. they have a great team just that they havent gotten the concept down yet.

We need some time to develop the roles each player will be playing on this team we dont have that yet. We will soon.

Anyways just wanted to say keep all the threads positive and lets continue to cheer are favorite team on.

Let's Go Lamar Let's Go Kobe Let's Go Caron It's SHOWTIME

I like the team. We just need a couple bigger bodies up front. I dont want to get rid of Caron or Odom. I think Kobe, Odom, and Caron are all key elements to our rebuilding.

I agree with him. We dont need Kidd on this team. We have a good team just need to give it some time to develop. After the All-Star Weekend the people who said we needed the trades will be sorry cause just give this Lakers team some more time together and they will show you the Showtime basketball that we all love

Well I don't know about Showtime. LOL. I think we're relying too much on two different eras, but the Lakers so far are decent. A 3-3 record isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but since the Nugget home opener win, we just haven't taken our Western Conference opponents seriously. Look at the margin of our loss totals. All by double digits. Where's the effort? If this Kobe Bryant injury is as serious as it sounds, we're in big trouble, but I'm gonna keep the faith and hopefully everything will be just fine.

I like the team the way it is. The only problem they have right now is consistency. They aren't playing at a high level night in and night out. If they can find some measure of consistency, they could be good. Cause there are a lot of times where they look good, and than times, like against Memphis, where they just look terrible. They need to keep a high level of play at all times and find some type of consistency shooting the ball, than I think that in itself could help solve some issues they have.

This team is a total makeover from last year's and will definitely take time to gel. The team's not even complete yet. Divac, Slava and Devean George had to be on the IL early. K Rush is just starting to come back and there's still hopes of Malone to be back. It can only get better from here. Baring a serious Kobe injury, hopes are not entirely lost yet. The team needs to be built around Kobe, Odom and Butler and they just need the necessary pieces around them. Lakers definitely need to save cap space to make a run at Yao when he tests free agency. So they cant make ill adviced bad trades yet. Lakers are in much better shape than Denver and Sacramento right now. So patience is the key.
