The Vikings could sure use him. Heck, so could the Pack...but we have ZERO cap room to do anything this off season.
Jason Whitlock from the KC Star (Newspaper) said Law stated that he would be interested in Kansas City. We need him big time, but I can't see Lamar and Carl P. ponying up the kind of cash he will want to get him. Oh well, here's to hoping. Tommy Polley from St. Louis is another guy KC should be having in for a visit imo. Here is the link if anyone is interested: http://www.kansascity.com/mld/kansascity/s...fs/10996001.htm
The Vikings have said that they are interested in pursuing Law. At 35mil under the cap, they can definitely afford him. If we can get him, one more good safety, and a little leadership at LB the defense could become extremely good... I will be very happy if we sign him.
An article I read today said Law is still in a wheelchair from his injury. KC has asked for a medical evaluation, but are waiting on Law and his agent to set it all up. They expressed concern that he still was not walking yet, and doesn't seem to have a sence of urgency about getting his condition checked out by KC's medical personnel. I think that is why we have also been working on setting up meet & greets with Woodson, Rolle, and Surtain. Truth be told, I would rather end up with Surtain. I think Law has a better top end talent, but Surtain would give us many more years of service at a dropoff that I do not consider too significant.
It's really sad to see him go, what a great player and he has played great for new england for all ten years of his career. Who ever gets him will be getting a strong, tuff player. all i can say is good luck to him and his family.
Ty Law was definitely a great player for us for years but once he dropped the I need to feed my family line I quickly lost respect for the guy....who ever wants him can have him...just hope he stays healthy cus he has had significant injuries to his legs the last two seasons it's just he played through a bad high ankle sprain two years ago so people don't realize how hurt he has been....but who knows he might come back fine from his foot injury. I wish he just fell in line like the rest of the patriots and took less money to stay but oh well...maybe he can go to great "family" (as lawyor called them) in buffalo....LOL
Let's see... Since Gary Baxter has left, maybe Ty Law can replace him? I don't think so. So Vikes might get him.
That would be interesting, a trade law for moss. well i don't think that would ever really happen. i don't think moss would drink the ne coolade and keep his mouth shut, but you never know, that is what was said about dillon and harrison. we shall see...
I don't see him going to Dallas, especially at his price. We have too many other needs. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (TOMW74)</div><div class='quotemain'>That would be interesting, a trade law for moss. well i don't think that would ever really happen.</div> You are right, especially considering that NE doesn't have rights to him anymore.
