Rafer is doing amazing for the Raptors. He's leading the Raptors in scoring, knocking down the three and playing very clutch.
Rafer Alston won't lead the Raptors to the playoffs, Vince will. Although he has played much better than my expectations, Vince still needs to play well in order for them to win.
Thats so true. My theory up to this day has been true. if Vince gets 24ppg , and at least 5 rebounds per game, they will make the playoffs. Another way they will is if they play the way they are right now with one exception, Vince going to the line at least 5 times a night.
But yo Rafar Alston, will be top 5 in assists this year. The guy is crazy, so much better since the first Toronto year. This guy takes it to the rack, knocks the three, plays good d, and finds the open man. Everything u need in apoint.
A guy who is averaging 14 points in any uniform will make an impact, plus he is part of the early succes of the Raptors.
He has been playing great in his first time as a starter. He has proved that just because you play streetball doesn't meen you can't make the adjustment to the pros. He has been putting up 16 points, 4 rebounds and 6 assists. He also seems to have buffed up a little in the off season. I'm not sure if he can lead a team to the playoffs just yet though. He has never been put in that much control. I don't know how he'll manage that, and if VC gets hurt it's all on him and D-Marsh, and Bosh, and that could be dangerous.
