The Indiana Pacers coach isitting artest. Ive heard it was because he asked fror time off to promote a record if anyone else hears more please post.
apparently it has something to do with the artest and jermaine oneal feud there have been rumors that there was a physical confrontation between the too, also earlier this week artest claimed to want to retire. basically artest just has a screw loose, and decided to throw in some info about his record when he was interviewed to pull attention to it, and it worked beautifully.
No, it is official. He was benched two games by Rick Carlisle for requesting time off at certain periods during the season to complete his up and coming rap album. Carlisle being offended by this, decided to take the initiative and give him time-off the way he didn't want it. A suspension.
Wow that's harsh by Carlisle but stupid of Artest if you ask me. He gets paid millions of dollars to play basketball abd he asks to take a little bit of time off and rap? What a loser.
In an interview on ESPN he was talking about how he`s "a free man" and he should be allowed to do what he wants. He said the Pacers WILL win a championship and that he might want to take a month off from basketball.
In that same interview with ESPN he said he wanted the time off to spend time with his children and heal his many injuries. It just said that on SportsCenter. He also has threatened to retire which would hurt the Pacers terribly.
I haven't heard anything, but that's stupid to sit him. The only way they can win now is with him in, because Miller is out.
LBJ#23, the Pacers are not going down the drain with a coach like Carlisle and great talent they will pick it up.
Pacers must trade this guy before he destroys the team. Regardless of his talents, he's worse than Dennis Rodman. Complete head case with obvious mental problems.
Charles Barkley is the man, he said that Artest needed help on TNT when I was watching the Heat and Mavericks game a while back I think it was 2 weeks ago, according to Sir Charles he needs help lol.
