what you guys think? Magic haven't lost one at home, but when Kobe is at his best scoring over his average a game it seems like the Lakers are unbeatable.

I think the magic will win because they are coming off a hard loss to the Wizards. Steve Francis and Grant Hill will breakout scoring 20+ points each. The key for the Magic is that Cuttino Mobley and Kelvin Cato need to play. They were injured in the game against the mavericks and they need to suit up for the Magic to win this one. If Mobley and Cato play my prediction is Magic 94- Lakers 86. If Cato and Mobley do't play my prediction is
Magic 85-Lakers 94

^ yeah that true
personally I have no idea who gonna win, but I nearly sure that Kobe will be playin at his best again, his injury gotta be fine now, AND they're comin back from a hard loss, but the thing about Grizzlies is that they got a great home record, they also got Grant Hill, cato and Mobley
Lakers won 10 of their last 11 matches against the Magics that will put pressure on lakers to win and keep good record, also pressure magics to break it. Lakers might feel a bit tired after travellin to Orlando, but I doubt that, anyway I be placin my bet on the Lakers. good luck to all people with hopes for themselves and their idols

well if Bryant will be affected by injury, it will be a tall order for the other guys to step up. Francis or Mobley always had a great games against Lakers. I stll say Lakers by not more than 5 points. We also might see a great game from Odom....

Not sure how Kobe's foot is affecting him...but assuming he is properly conditioned prior to the game (see thread on Kobe's injury) I expect LA to take the game.

The Magic don't have anyone aside from Cato in the middle. Not that Chris Mihm is at the top of the list, but he's not at the bottom either, depending on the night. However, I expect Lamar to abuse Howard. They have similar builds and skill sets, but Odom obviously has got the experience.

I think that if the Lakers are to win this one they should attack the middle. Despite being undersized, they should still be able to take the Magic frontcourt. The interesting matchup should be Caron and Grant Hill.

I think they will prep Kobe's injury before the game. He'll show up like he always does. The man is a Warrior. Lakers by 11.

Rebounds killed us tonight. Offensively, we played very well and we didn't do too bad defensively. However, we were outrebounded by nearly 20! How I dream for a healthy Malone...

Lakers lost and gave up 122 points to a team without two starters and one very good scorer. Hardly a good sign. Kobe scores 41 and L.A still lost? welcome to Mcgrady, Allen, Pierce, Iverson's world. This is exactly what they had to go through for the past 5 seasons.

I will say this though, L.A are better than what they are certainly doing. Odom needs to actually step up, he is playing more like the L.A Clipper Lamar Odom than last years Miami Heat Lamar Odom.

They might have played tough but that really didn't cut it. The Lakers need a win. If they ever hope to make it to the playoffs this season they need to win games.

Yeah, The Magic were missing their starting center and SG and we still beat you. Not only does Lamar Odom need to step up, Chucky Atkins need to keep playing as well as he did tonight. Think how much we would have won by if we had a healthy team!

The Lakers are playin good. They need to protect the leads they have. they get too comfortable and the intensity drops which allows teams to get back in.

Welcome to the world of every superstar that's ever been alone on his team, but Odom is there, and he had a pretty solid game himself, ah well, it happens I guess.

The dunk was sick though, but Dwight is a beast, that bulking up really helped his rebounding, he's averaging 11.3 rebounds in 29.8 minutes a game, 4.2 of those are offensive too, WOW [IMG]

Magic are also leading the league in rebounds I think, and with how he's rebounding it's not a surprise especially considering they have Francis a beast rebounding PG also, but I don't know if their rebound differential is the highest.

Kobe is definately not alone. Odom and Butler are capable stars themselves. They just need to prove it.

Anyone know exactly what was said between Kobe and the courtside fan?

All I know is Kobe said "you woke me up now"

Hehe, that is so cool!
