With the signing of Charles Woodson to a the one-year franchise tender, the Raiders are now $15 Million over the salary cap....that $15 million doesnt include the $7 mil that Moss will count....so they have to cut $22mil off thier cap number by March 2nd....thats a lot of cash to be moving around in a short period of time....if they cant do it, the league will be forced to void the trade between the Vikings and Raiders....this could turn into a hue mess....
the Eagles. 2 loud mouth recievers in one city would be great. NOT. although he is pretty good, i wouldnt mind him playing there...well give the vikes freddie mitchell.
Wow....that would be interesting. I think the Vikings would be forced to keep Moss...then one of two things would happen. Either Moss would want to prove that he should never be traded and have the biggest year of his career, or he would be the biggest pain a team could ever have...

They will never trade him to eagles, no matter what eagles offer, they will trade him to an AFC team
After signing Woodson, The Raiders are 15 million over (I believe that includes Gannon restructring). It would not suprise me to see the trade ending up like Moss, the #19, & a 3rd rounder going to Oak for Woodson & the 19th
and that $15 mil doesnt count Moss's $7.5 mil cap number the Raiders will inherit when the trade goes through....i really think the deal that was reported may be in danger of being squelched....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BearsFan1)</div><div class='quotemain'>Raiders say there is no problem.</div> If it is; Al Davis will just litigate! :cheesey:
The deal will go through. The Raiders knew what their cap situation was before they went after Moss and they had a plan to fix it.
Thats actually not true....they didnt know that Woodson would sign the $10mil tender so fast....he may have screwed them by doing so....
They restructured Gannon and Lechler, they cut Middleton, Buchanon, and R. Williams....I havent seen the numbers, but I would imagine thats not enough to get under the cap....We will see....
