yes do this trade. shaq is playing badly as well as melo. and wilcox is playing better than gooden. The other person probably is looking toward later in the year to cash in on shaq and melo and he is afraid kobe is injured badly, but i don't think they are going to play like they did last year and kobe will tough it out. Dampier is weak so try to get someone else if you can contact them, only if you can do this without them cancelling the trade altogether. tell them you are giving them two stars for one and you need someone better than dampier to finalize the trade.
The trade is pretty even, so if it fits your strengths, do it. Shaq and Damp will come out with similar rebounds although a slight negative to blocks and a big dip in points, Kobe will do better than Melo in terms of scoring, 3 points, and assists, and Wilcox (provided he continues to play a good part of the rotation in LAC) can be as effective as Gooden.
