Yes, I agree 100%. I think Bates will whip the defense into shape, but the Pack just needs more talent on that side of the ball.

 

If bates does whip D into shape he will be gone at end of year.

Bates will improve the D. As I understand it, another CB & DE wouldn't hurt either

Yeah, I think they do need a new QB to replace what Favre has done.
