I give props to Mo Pete. Last year that guy straight up was out of shape and he couldn't contribute. This year hes quicker leaner, and the whole, thing.

I agree with you. If we didn't re-sign Mo Pete we would have nowhere near as many chances to score as we do now. He is unreal now and i think he deserves the starting job over Jalen Rose if he keeps playin like this.

I don't know if he was straight out of shape and couldn't contribute considering he was our best bench player.

Also I don't want Carter to copy MoPete's pumpfake for a three, and then still take the three, or pick and roll pull up three, MO just lvoes them.

dude man...what is the point of even posting? in the eddy curry thread all you said was "not guna happen". like...do you even have an opinion? seirously man...whats the point of even posting if all your going to say is "word" ?? offer an opinion or something...dont just waste bandwith

on the subject of mo pete...i was actually noticing during last nights game that his arms look ripped. he looks like he's in the best shape iv seen him in, in a while. with his perimeter/ one on one D, plus his play on offense thus far, he looks like he'd make for a better starter over jalen, but we've seen how streaky his play is when he starts over the years. mo makes a great 6th man...i like him in that role

Carter needs to work out so he can regain his vert and quickness, which were his only two great aspects of his game. For example, last year Kobe could barely dunk, this year after working out like crazy, he dunked over Dwight Howard, wicked facial. Kobes definately got his hops back. Carter needs to do the same.

Still, he doesn't use them enuff. How many times does he dunk in a game? I only counted once in the Seattle game, and it was that fast break. I don't feel as confident when VC has the ball as I used to.

Yeah your right. His first dunk of the regular season was last night.

"I don't feel as confident when VC has the ball as I used to."

But when he does hit those clutch shots I bet you do feel confident. I understand your concern with the injuries and such. But theres a reason that he is pretty much always called for the last play. He wants the clutch plays. When Vince does good, the Raptors win. Once he gets back into the flow of things I think hell do just fine.

I feel the same way you do to. I remember when VC would dunk on anybody with no fear, now it looks like he is afraid of that contact. But VC has developed a really nice jumper and 3, so people should stop saying that he was only good at dunking.

Well, I think Vince is still capable of being the Vince he once was he should stick to his game and getting back to how good he was before and not try to copy Mo's. If Mo keeps performing for us like this he should get the starting spot again and it should be over Jalen this time, Jalen will still get minutes since he can still play the PG, SG and SF but Mo will not because he cant play as many positions, I think Mo should start to start soon.

Its nice to see the Raptors doing so well. I just love seeing players like Mo doing great things. The people in charge at the Raptors made a smart move by resigning him. He is a great player.

so you would ratehr have vince shooting fadeaway threes when he is like 15ft open and airing them instead? You dont want vince playin d the way o-pete does instead u want him to be getting schooled by no names, you dont wanna see vince hustle, u jus wanna see him on the bench laughing and joking around when his team is losing its second straight?

Yo people, Carter shouldn't copy mo petes game, he should copy his work ethic, toughness, and consistency. Like mo pete, no matter what his critics say, hes still doing what he does best, shooting jump shots. He worked out got in shape, now hes the best ever that hes been. On the other hand, Vince arguebally (for sure) was the best dunker and one of the best drive in forces in the league. If he wanted to go under, around, or over some one he could have, and his quickness with his dribble was also great. But now after some injuries, and years of being lazy during the offseason, he has lost his quick first step (a primary reason why he does not drive as much), a few inches off his vert, his jumper is just getting worser and worser (due to lack of vert) and hes not efficient any more. If he just tries to go back to 2001 shape, this guy can still be a force to reckon with. But will he go back, I don't think he will.
