<div class="quote_poster">Quoting echo5:</div><div class="quote_post">ok but seriously the real reason is, all the players are like rookies... and they all play simple, and you hardly ever see them do anything fancy or even dunk =/ if u notice, they can go games without dunking or doing anything fancy. That has to be the dumbest post I've ever read.

Really? Lets hear why everything is wrong with them? But, seriously, don't post crap like that. It brings nothing to the debate. A one word post with no meaning is useless. Back it up with some facts and reasons why you believe everything is wrong with them.

Yeah, because Deng's surprisingly good start, Hinrich's steady play, and Duhon's ability to lead a team are not contributing in any way.

Not to mention Harringon is adding stability to the frontcourt and Nocioni has played well(albeit his shooting).

LoL, it's pretty surprising because the team does have good young talent, but look at their record and I don't see them winning any time soon on the 8 game road trip.

    You little whinners happy now?

I'm not a whiner. I just don't appreciate people ripping on a team and not giving any legit reasons for doing so. Who cares if they're 0-4, they could just as easily be 2-2 if they didn't slow down in OT2 against the Nets and didn't fall totally asleep on a 23 point lead against the Clips. If this team learns to close out opponents in the 4th, they could be good. It'd also help them a great deal if they could get off to a good start....

Hey every one i appreciate your opinions on this topic. The reason I posted this topic is because the chicago portion of justbball has been quiet since I joined. I was waiting for someone to create some entertaining-simulating-opinionated, but i decided to put my own opinions in a topic to give chicago fans a chance to come out of hiding. Hopefully we beat the kings tonight.

Actually, over the last week or so, the Chicago section hasn't been too bad. I've been trying to make it more active (being the mod of it and all) and I've actually gotten it more active since taking it over a few months ago.

Why are you so defensive? Im not going to take your job. since Ive been here this topic is the only one(in the chicago section) to get people to debate their opinions and give entertaining reading. Chicago vs Sacramento topics dont cut the bacon. ill take it upon myself to give the chicagoans some topics and opinions that are interesting and entertaining. Be honest with yourself ...................................................... my topic was the most entertaining, interesting and brought more life to the bulls fans since my arrival. I love the Bulls and I love our fellow bulls fans. I love to hear their opinoins wheather i agree with them or not. I thought that was the purpose of board like this to stir up opinions. "Actually"There were weeks that went by where there wasnt more that 3 posts. I would appreciate it if you dont erase my post because you feel attacked because im not attacking you at all. Im just stating things as i see them. I appreciate your opinions also so dont feel Threatened by my posts. im just Letting you know Im gonna get our fans pumped up and ready to discuss the issues. If I dont do it.......then who will? GO BULLS!

I'm sorry if I came off defensive there, I wasn't trying to be. I was just stating, that, over the last week or so, the forum had been becoming active. And I can't say I'm the one responisible, as one person can't make a forum active, others have to chip in. But, you're right, you have made a great thread that's gotten some good debate, and it's been great for this forum.

    Which I won. [IMG]

All jokes aside, we do need Deng to play quite a bit tonite if this game is to remain close. The shooting woes continue to plague us, and Deng has been the one time and time again making shots.

However, for this game to stay close, it has to be a team effort. The whole team must shoot well tonite. Gordon must play well and be effective. He must shoot better than he has thus far.

    Hinrich as well.

Unfortunetly, I don't see it happening. I see the Kings blowing us out by 20 or so.

very entertaining thread, vintage and Moo2K4 have been making very good points in a very civil manner.

I have to agree with vintage that someone must have after 6 years of losing to be accountable. And for me G.M paxson is the one to blame. You have the sense that you are starting after 6 seasons, wait a minute 6 seasons to start, that's unacceptable.

I live in spain so I have seen quiet a few games of nocioni, and for sure he's not a good mirdange shooter, and very far from a 3 point shooter. He's a very physical player who usually scores in the paint and take a lot of rebounds. The problem being that nba players are as physical or more than him. He didn't had this problem in spain were most players aren't athletic freaks. Now that he can't slash so easily he take a lot of midrange jumpers and that is why he have such and mediocre FG %. I don't think you have to go outside the US to find these kind of players, the bulls should have invested in a finesse player like Scola but I think he was drafted by the spurs.
One thing you must be happy with is that paxson drafted kirk. I love that player he is really good, and I don't think that wade is that superior to him, sure he's a better slasher, but who is a better passer, a better shooter, a better point guard.
Curry or chandler can't lead this team, they need somebody that can lead them and help them to become what everyone expected from them, and kirk can't do that. he's way too young.
Anyway I wish you the best.

Just saw the stats for the last game, curry 4 pts 7 turnovers, chandler 3 points 3 turnovers, I think somebody must be losing his patience.

for the life of me i cant understand why someone keep mentioning Nocioni being "more ready to play". Well since Deng is obviously playing better than him doesnt that mean Deng's more ready to play????
I mean if it was Nocioni then i'd expect him to have good numbers and Deng to be struggling...i dont get it....but then again i'm not Chicago management, cause we all know they're rocket scientists.

I feel for you Bulls fans....i cant understand many, if not all of the trades that have been done. I cant understand why Chandler and Curry are still around. Granted they have 'potential'. But they had potential years and years ago.....and they havent grown at all. When do you stop buidling a team on potential and start building it on quality with a minor in potential. Have some projects....just not the whole damn starting lineup. Who's gunna teach them anything?
Trade Curry, Trade Chandler...hell give them for veterans that can ball. Keep Gordan as a bench player for now. Keep Hinrich, keep Deng, and keep Nocioni. The rest of the team is expendable.

    Couldn't have said it better.

    C - Someone Else
    PF - Someone Else
    SF - Deng/Nocioni
    SG - Gordon
    PG - Hinrich

I really think Gordon needs to see more time with different teammates. I think he'd play much better without Curry and Chandler, really. Other than that one little statement you made, I agree with it all.

yeah i hate potential, everyone has potential in a way, potential is just another word for assuming, and never assume.

The problem with the bulls is that we can not seem to hold a group of players together long enough so they can "jell" .
