I truly liked Jay Williams dispite my hatred for Duke. He always seemed like a good guy, and of course a great player. I think he has the determination to play again next season. Is he still under contract with the Bulls? He will never play up to what his full potential was, but he will still be a quality role player. I wish him the best of luck in his career, in and out of basketball. Much respect!!
no they worked something out last year but i think i remeber the bulls saying in the confrence if he gets back and is able to play they will sign him but im not sure how with all there points guards gordon hinirch deng i dont think they need a 4th point guard but i hope he comes back
I hope he can make it back. We all know he won't be as good as everyone thought before the tradegy, but maybe he can become a good backup point guard on a good team.
It will be great for the NBA to have him come back. He was a great player at Duke, he had the world on his shoulders as a top draft pick and then that happend. I would love to see him show his face in a game, it would be very emotional for his family and fans.
Before the injury, I thought Jay would become one of the top 10 point guards in 3 years or so. He was also one of the quickest players i have ever seen, but hopefully he'll come back and start dropping dimes again.
