If you think that hes purposly not doing good so he will get traded then ur wrong. If he stops trying now, he knows that his trade value is already really low and he might not be traded if he keeps playin as shitty as he is.

yea but if u dont wanna be there , ur not gonna play as good as u can ,, i know the only way his value will go up is if he plays well , but i see him doin the same as davis did last yr ,, wehn the **** was the last time he had 4 points in a game lol thats astrocious!!!!!! ,, i think his least points last years was like 13 or something ,, he's had about that for the past 4 games ,, i heard he came into camp out of shape , so maybe thats it ?

he needs to know that their offence is run and gun, and not some iso's where he'd create his own shot and it requires team basketball, he needs to play well to get traded

Somethings not right. All he said was he couldn't wait to be in an up-tempo offence, but he hardly ever runs the floor. He doesn't hustle, it's amazing how poorly he is playing. I'm not sure what the deal is. IF he is trying to force a trade, then you know what I would do. I would take that stupid list of 3 or 4 teams that he WANTS to get traded to and throw it out. Send him to the Western conference and bury him on the worst team there. I'm sure Golden State would love to have him!

...it could be the opposite too, the Raps might have to end up trading him before he loses all value altogether.

I don't know where his head is at...he's always saying that the success of the team is most important but that's not the case at all since he's feeling sorry for himself for not being the "star" and the center of attention anymore and thus he doesn't even try.

The Raps need him though if they want to do anything in the playoffs (assuming they even make it there). Bosh is progressing but he's not capable of carrying the team night-in, night-out yet, like Vince did a couple of years ago.

Now I see why people don't really consider him a franchise player. Can you ever imagine the elite players in the league playing and acting the way he is? B-Davis requested a trade but he's playing excellent.
Peja requested a trade and even though he's off to a slow start, he has shown some interest in actually helping the Kings win. Vince seems like he doesn't care. Even after that Portland game-winning three-pointer he excalimed something along the lines of "I didn't think it was going in, I just threw it up and it fell". C'mon, atleast show some interest and heart.
I really think he is wrecking his value furthermore.
4 points on 2-9 shooting? *Claps*
Great way to raise your value Vince.

I like the fact that the Raptors managed to beat Utah without Vince and almost beat the Portland without him either.
If he wants to just play around and act like he doesn't care then ship this soft ass out of Toronto. He really deserves to be booed with the way he's acting and playing.

Are you kidding me? Do you really believe Vince is worth that much. That would be one of the most lopsided trades ever.

Vince is worth next to nothing now, and teams can't even trade scrubs for him because Carter is overpaid. Seriously though, I wouldn't really say that Vince is totally to blame for his descent into a second-tier player. Grunwald's hiring and firing of Kevin O'Neill also greatly affected Carter's morale. No player likes losing and you can't win if you change coaches every season. Let's win a few games without Carter and make him fight for redemption when he realizes we are winning again.

He's saying all the right things, but when it comes down to it I havn't heard him talk about improving his own game. Even Jalen Rose admitted that he wasn't playing well when he got benched, but Carter is either clueless or doesn't care.

as Jenike said, I don't htink something is right. I Think Carter isn't very happy with any of the fronto office(again?!) or ocacching, or something. In the presseaon it was looking pretty good, but then everything for Carter has gone downhill. Maybe he's depressed over losing all thart money. [IMG]. Oh well, I still believe(althought hat belief is slowly waning) that Carter will show up before the first quarter of the season is over. Maybe Vince will really wnat his trade value to settle wehre its supposed to be at. Maybe he'll prove the haters wrong..
