Well if you look around our 76ers are toping all the teams in the Atlantic divion in the weekly Power Rankings. Here are the links, check em out: ESPN: http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/powerranking...son=2005&week=2 CNNSI: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2004/writ...ings/index.html
i hardly think loosing 1 game(seattle by 2) thanks to a horrid no-call on the last shot in the game, AND making a 3pointer .1 seconds to late (blazers by 3) makes the raps deserving of a 8 seed drop. They've beaten 3 of the teams above them and almost had another one. Also they've played much harder teams then most of the upper teams. If you ask me Toronto's still top 10 and people are just dissrespecting and overlooking the Raps.
It's really too early to look at the power rankings. I think untill atleast 20 games are played then a slim amount of accuracy can be provided from this however, when teams like NYK have only played 5 games into the season which included Minnesota, and Indiana not to mention without their sharpshooter Allan Houston...
ya...i think power rankings r pretty useless at this time, its gotta be at least 20 games into the season
^^ Agree with both of you, these power rankings really mean nothing, it's the power rankings in January and Febuary that would really determind who will be a contender and who will be a pretender. But I'll expect the Sixers to finish on top of the Atlantic because of the lack of talent in our Division. I think Willie Green, Kyle Korver, and Andre Iguodala will have outstanding years, making Philly a contender for years to come.

If his ankle is an issue, it's tough to tell.</div> I agree with PRs being to early, but I agree with the prediction and ranking. Hopefully we`ll be able to move down that ranking.
