Rafer Alston seems to have it this year. His numbers have been solid thus far and he's getting big minutes as a starter. She shoots 3s, rebounds decently for a PG, shares the ball well, steals the ball, and isn't turnover happy. Parker has too many people in the backcourt with him, Brent Barry is too good to be given ltitle minutes.
Parker of course. The man is only 22 years of age, and already has established himself of a great role playing PG. Parker was also a major part in winning a ring which shows that he knows what it takes to win. I have no doubts in my mind that Tony Parker will be averaging better numbers if he had an even bigger role.
I actually have both on my team, Parker came in the draft, and I picked up Alston as a F.A. Parker has been too hot and cold for me. I got Alston for the assists and threes, he's more versatile than Parker. If you are trying to drop/trade one, trade Parker. His trade value is exaggerated in most people's eyes, I personally dont think that he has gotten it done this year. Alston has been consistant on all of the days that I have played him.

I'd rather have Rafer than Tony.
Rafer kills Parker fantasy wise, Parker isn't that good in fantasy, doesn't get that many assists, doesn't get steals, doesn't hit many three's, doesn't have that good a FT%, and his FG% won't impact you. Rafer get's you steals, three's, and likely more assists.

To me they both have the same potential though I think Parker gets a lot more hype because he's been on a winning team... but he's too streaky. I dropped Parker and kept Alston.. didn't bother trying to trade because everyone is looking at the same stats I am, and thus far, his season stats stink.
