    <div align="center">Boston Celtics(3-2) vs. Washington Wizards(3-4)

</div><div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The Boston Celtics go for their fourth consecutive victory when they take on the Washington Wizards in their first meeting of the season.

After dropping their first two contests, the Celtics have bounced back to post wins over New York, Portland and Charlotte, holding those teams to an average of 78.3 points, while shooting 48.9 percent.

Paul Pierce averages 21.6 points, eight rebounds and 6.4 assists per game. The only other player to register similar stats is current MVP Kevin Garnett of the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Gary Payton is on the verge of another milestone, needing just three 3-pointers to reach 1,000 for his career. He has already scored his 20,000th point and his 8,000th basket this season.

After playing seven times in the first 12 days of the season, including three sets of back-to-back nights, Washington has just five more games in the rest of November and will play its next eight against Eastern Conference teams.

Despite forcing 18 turnovers per game, the Wizards have allowed more than 104 points per game, which has them among the league's worst defenses.

Antawn Jamison leads the team with 22.7 points and 8.6 rebounds and will play in his 336th consecutive game against Boston. Jamison has combined with former Golden State teammates Gilbert Arenas and Larry Hughes to average 60.1 points.

Washington has lost four out of five, but is one of three teams to have six players average in double figures in scoring. The other teams are Indiana and Miami.

Boston won three of the four meetings last season and has a 159- 91 edge in the series. </div>Link

I'll pick the C's in this one. I think the key to the game is the C's bench coming up big again. The Celtics seem to have gotten a rhythm for what they are going to be doing this year, and also a good feeling for what their rotation is going to be. I don't think that the Wizards rotation can match up from top to bottom with Boston. I'll guess that it will be close, but C's will pull it out once again for their 4th straight.

    U da man.

Anyways....The Celtics looked terrible in the 1st half, and were down by 13.

Now after the 3rd, they are up by 12.

Well, The Wizards win 110-105 in OT.

The bench had a bad game and couldn't hold down the fort while the starters took a rest. It got tight late in the game and Pierce had a shot to win it in regulation, but couldn't get a quality shot off. In OT, the C's didn't know what to do. They just kept feeding Pierce and he couldn't do it all. It was too easy for the Wizards defense to key in on Pierce because they knew he was getting the ball the whole time. All and all it wasn't a bad game considering how poorly the bench played.

You know, despite the outcome, I was really encouraged by this game. If this were last year, they give up at halftime and get blown out by 30+.
I don't know what Doc said at halftime, but it worked. And, I think credit has to go to Gary Payton for controling the tempo of the game in the second half and slowing the Wizards down.
If the could have gotten 1 freaking basket in the first 3 minutes of overtime they would have won.
