They opted against former Bulls forward Eddie Robinson, after it was revealed that Robinson would need surgery to repair a big toe injury. Now, the Knicks are eye-balling Glenn Robinson, who, it appears, will not play another game for the Sixers. The Knicks have made a trade offer Nazr Mohammed and others) but also are hoping the Sixers will buy out the $12 million final year of his contract so they could get him for $1.3 million. The Knicks are also in the bidding to acquire the Bulls' Eddy Curry. The Bulls said they would take Michael Sweetney for him, but not Mohammed.</div>

To be honest, I just like Nazr size, but that just about it. What do you guys think about this?

Well all this trade would do is get rid of Robinson. It doesnt help 76ers much because Nazi wouldn't get any minutes, and he shouldnt on a team like this.

Well, if Sam Dalembert is having a hard time finding minutes imagine how it is going to be for Nazr Mohammed. I say the Sixers should keep Big Dog for now and wait until a better offer comes or if they really dont need him waive him or do a buyout.

I really can't see anyone from the Knicks that can help us. Other than Steph, Houston, and Crawford.

Pretty much everyone on the team is a waste.

Yeah if Nazr is the main guy in the trade I would just keep Robinson an get the cap relief at the end of the year.

A filler. Probably Moochie Norris or some sort.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I would like Michael Sweetney</div>

We couldn't even touch him with a 100 foot pole if he was standing just 50 feet away.

Knicks think they can get GRod for free. They must be out of their mind, Nazr won't help the sixers at all, why trade big dog to help them. I would do Sweetney, or a first pick and filler.

I dont like a trade involving Nazr, putting another center in the mix of our lineup could stunt Dalemberts growth and we cant have that happen. On th other hand I would like Mike Sweetney, he is a devloping player and he could become good soon.

I am also hearing that the Hornets are intrested in Robinson, here an article i came across.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Needing some kind of spark to ignite their winless team, the New Orleans Hornets soon will trade for disgruntled Philadelphia forward Glenn Robinson. Robinson has yet to play this season and new coach Jim O'Brien doesn't even want him on the roster because of his questionable attitude and unwillingness to play defense. The Hornets need someone to help take the scoring load off of Baron Davis. And "Big Dog'' Robinson won't be shy about getting up shots</div>

Personaly I think we should just let him play, the worse thing that can happen is he play good or bad, and before you know it he'll be a free agent and the Sixers will have cap space to sign a "big name player".

i think his salary is upwards of 10mill, heck of a lot a money to sign a good player FA or restricted agent

Islah Thomas is trying to rip every team off. Curry may be dissapointing, but hes definitely better than Sweeney. We may not want robinson, but we're not gonna get a horrible role player back for a player like robinson's value. We have to trade Robinson to get another scorer back, our only scoreres are kyle korver and allen iverson right now. EVerybody else is on a slump

Curry possibly could be good for us in a 3-way. We definitely need some more size.

Well, getting Curry would be awesome for us, starting him at center will definitely help us. I guess that would make slow Dalembert's developtment tho

Have you ever seen a Knick game? Sweetney has just about the same numbers as Curry in every stat (except TO's) in 5 less minutes of play. Sweetney is a definite for the future and will get better. Curry is a player who is a maybe and he is undependable.
