If you had one wish that would benefit the Celtics Organization what would it be? Whether it is aquiring a player or winning a chamionship, what would you wish for? I would wish for Kevin Garnett because the threat of having Pierce and Garnett would lead to multiple championships.
That would be awesome. I didn't think about that. I would wish for season tickets for life but you get to sit on the bench cheering them on. That would be so cool!
These are all kind of unoriginal, any fan for any team would love these things, they aren't Celtic specific.
My wish would be that this was Larry Bird's rookie year and he was playing for the Celts. A realistic one would be aquaring Shaq in a 3 way trade.
If I was a Celtics fan I would want to go back into time (1997 draft) And in the first round the Celtics Draft Tim Duncan and T-mac with their two first round picks
Tim Duncan was the first pick in the draft so they couldn't get him. They had the third pick and took Chauncey Billups and they also had the sixth pick where they drafted Ron Mercer. They could have drafted Tracy McGrady both times but passed and he was then taken with the 9th pick by the Raptors. Poor Celtics
How about redoing the 2001 draft? Taking Johnson, Brown and Forte instead of Murphy, Jefferson, Parker, Tinsley, Arenas... But, my wish would be that the celtics can reach the point where they compete for the NBA title every year. I'm not even going to the extreme of having to win it every year, but just be in a position to (realistically) compete for it each year. I don't think thats asking too much.
I'm a big fan of the Celtics and one thing I would like to see for this team is for their basketball legacy to be restored. As long as they don't face my Miami Heat ofcourse
I guess my semi realistic wish is that our youngsters stick around and develop into starts,in particular the bigs.
