I know it may sound crazy, but the Jazz were playing amazingly with McLeod in the starting lineup and now they've lost to in a row with Arroyo. As good a player as Arroyo is, maybe it would be a good idea to continue starting McLeod. What do you think?
They've actually only lost one in a row . I think they should continue to start Arroyo. He's coming off injury and the whole team didn't perform well enough vs. Orlando to win it. He has the experience, and has been with Utah 2 whole seasons now. But if Arroyo doesn't perform, dont hesitate to put McLeod or Eisley in. When Lopez comes back, McLeod might have to go on the Injured List . This team is deep.
I think we should keep Arroyo starting. When he is finally better, this is the group he will play with the most. He needs to build his confidense back, give him a few more games and I think he'll be back to his old form. But for now, as Stockton said, we can always put McLeod or Eisley in when and if Arroyo is struggling. Now the one we have to worry about is Harpring.
Arroyo should keep his starting role. The Jazz will only get better if they put Arroyo at the starting PG. Arroyo, Boozer, and Kirilenko sounds way better than McLeod, Boozer and Kirelenko.
Anyone changed their opinions on this now? McLeod, despite been healthy, is not even getting on the court. I can't see any harm in giving him minutes, which he deserves.
Well, after the loss to the Bulls, Sloan should consider giving McLeod 20-25 minutes and maybe the starting job. Arroyo didn't play all that well, and it looked like he couldn't hold Duhon,Hinrich or Gordon in check. Hell, I look in the box score and McLeod didn't get any minutes last night. The Jazz have a 2-4 record with Carlos starting and a 5-1 with Keith starting. Big difference, right there.
I still say we need to start Arroyo because down the road he is going to be our starting poing guard. Yet I would make McLeod the main back up and give him atleast half the minutes. The thing I have noticed with Arroyo is that he takes more time for the team to get into the offense and does hit the players with the pass the moment they are open and need the ball, while McLeod would get the ball running and get the team in the offense before the other teams defense could react. If I was Sloan I would continue to start Arroyo but split the time between the two 50/50 and completely bench Eisley.

Eisley has been with the Jazz so he knows the way they play, and they way Sloan coaches. I also think he's a really good PG. And I also think Arroyo is really good. But..... fact is, our record sucks with arroyo starting, so I would give Mcleod another chance.... Bah I dunno I'm a noob
Keep playing Arroyo, dudes a solid point guard. Once he gets his legs under him and his shot back together hes gonna take them places.

I don't understand why Sloan wouldn't play McLeod. When I was watching the Lakers vs. Jazz game, McLeod was awsome. He can dish the ball well. He was good in Minnesotta last season but he never got much playing time. I think I would still start Arroyo, but atleast give Keith some PT here. I checked out the boxscore yesterday and he got a donut in minutes played. Give the man some credit, he got the Jazz on a good star for the season and know hes not even going to play? Come on Sloan! Play the guy! :two_thumb
I'm pretty sure the record with Arroyo starting is 3-5, McLeod 5-1. I don't really mind who starts out of the two, but as long as McLeod is getting minutes. I just don't understand why he is rotting away on the bench. Sloan is a great coach, but he's left many scratching their head's after this one. McLeod got on court and had 6 points in 8 minutes vs. San Antonio. My guess as to why he's starting Arroyo over McLeod it is the same reason as to why Collins is starting over Okur, knowledge of the Jazz system through more seasons with the Jazz.
