Well one of my friends were kind of discussing this trade, i offered him brad miller and dwight howard for lebron james and obviously got rejected. but he said he might consider trading lebron for nowitzki or amare. he wants a center pretty bad and amare is getting C eligibility. i don't want to give up dirk or amare. i love amare but this is too good to pass up. amare is awesome, but lebron is awesomer. of course this was just an idea and i might have to add a player which i probably wouldn't do. but here's my team (out of 13 teams): PG Jamal Tinsley SG David Wesley G Marquis Daniels SF Drew Gooden PF Chris Webber F Amare Stoudamire C Dirk Nowitzki C Brad Miller Util Andre Iguodala Util Raef Lafrentz Bench Samuel Dalemburt Bench Kyle Korver Bench Dwight Howard IL Baron Davis Give up: Amare Stoudamire Get?: Lebron James I don't know, I like amare better, but fantasy wise right now lebron has no equal..
Do the trade...LBJ will tear it up; try to give up Amare instead of Dirk though. LBJ for Amare = definate yes, LBJ for Nowitzi...it's up to you, but you seem solid in the frontcourt so probably would be a good deal.
I offered him amare, but he'll probably want maybe another player which i don't think i'll do. but i'm thinking of offering him: dirk and d. howard for lebron and van horne that's a good trade right? i love dirk, but i think that would be a steal. i don't know if he'll bite for that either, he's one tough cookie..
Haha..."one tough cookie" huh? That's funny. Well yeah, you also have to remember LBJ is playing lights out right now, probably will cool down a bit too, but he's still playing top 5 basketball, no doubt, probably top 2-3 behind Garnett and maybe Nowitzki...depends on who you ask. But I think getting LBJ and Van Horn for Dirk and Howard is a good deal. LBJ and Dirk will probably be a wash...Van Horn seems to be on the verge of maybe his best year while Howard will probably hit the rookie wall at some point this year, so yeah if it were me I'd probably do it...if the tough cookie will accept it.
Trade LeBron for Amare because Dirk and LeBron would dominate. LeBron has been putting up great numbers this year and will continue to do so. Amare is a decent player who will grab rebounds but Dirk can do that for your team. If you get LeBron, you will have two scoring threats so I would do the trade.
My boy Lebron is dominating and breaking out this year but the scary part is, I think he could still get better. He's 20 years old and averaging like 29, 8, 6.. That is insane, I mean his athletic ability is ridiculous but then again so is Amare's. LeBron is the better overall player but I think Amare can score more than Bron because of positions, size and brute force. I'd do the trade, Bron is worth getting.
Amare is primed for his best year. His numbers could possibly be 24 10 1.3 steals 2 blocks. But Nowitzki is better because he can contribute to multiple categories. As for trading for Lebron, I think he will continue to produce since hes the number 1 option with ZI after him. I think keeping Amare and Nowitzki will be better except that you have less assists
I have LeBron on my sports.ws team right now. Currently, he's #2 in fantasy ppg, and quite frankly, I would not trade him for anything. The man is tearing it up like a mo fo. He's probably been the second best fantasy player this year, aside from KG. I'd say go for him. You don't find many players that'll get you 25 points, 7 boards, 6 assists, couple steals, and a block or so each night. So, if you have the chance, go for him.
Get Lebron. Trust me. Stay with Dirk, he's probably the most valuable fantasy player now next to Lebron and Garnett.
trade talk is dead. nothing happened i didn't want to do amare for lebron straight up. y? i'm trying to trade brad miller instead and move amare to center, i'm trying to get marion or finley somehow... his final offer was dalembert and kvh for dirk, i guess he must have thought i would be high or something. then he dropped dalembert the next day so i picked him up today for trade bait.
