Yeah he did. He was kicking this guy too. Can you really blame him? If someone was throwing stuff at me for no reason I honestly don't know how I'd react. Wonder what the NBA's going to do.

Stephen Jackson was beating the sh-t out of somebody. I don't know who it was though. If Ben Wallace didn't overreact I don't think it would of ever started.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting Stockton:</div><div class="quote_post">Suspensions coming for Pacers/Pistons players after this one.
Ben Wallace got fouled, lost it and shoved a Pacer. Small brawl comes, Wallace was probably ejected, then Artest carries it on and assaults a fan who threw a soft drink. Got out into the stands, just ugly. Game was called off early. NBA will be steaming after this one, it will be interesting to see how many games Artest gets.</div>

hey man did you forget about ben wallace. he shoved artest for no reason. hard foul or not he is not suppose to react like that.

secondly why did he get all up in artests face afterwards after artest was going away. he was only trying to provoke artest to get him upset and thrown from the game.

pistons fans are retarded. first off why would u provoke a guy liek artest. that guy that artest whooped in the crowd deserved every blow. and stephen jackson just had his back. not to throw salt on the situation.

i just think ben wallace should recieve the biggest punishment for the situation discarding the events that went on in the stands that should be handled diffrently. but form the standpoint of bens actions on artest. i want to see him get some punishment.

because i believe i believe it wouldnt be fair to just give ben a small punishment because of his character. cuz i mean if it was backwards and artest had got fouled hard and pushed ben like that, i believe david stern would be trying to burn artest at the stake as we speek.

you gotta give some props to Artest, he had great self-control till a stupid fan did threw some shit on him...yeah it wasn't right to do what he did, but the fan deserves the blame...

Who cares about what happened. Just a fight, every sport needs fights. We got our ass kicked by Indiana, that is how I remember the night. More importantly, is how this forum lit up after the events. Reminds me of the Minnesota game last year, where the Pistons were robbed by that loser ref. Nothing to ignite a forum like a shitty call or event.

I didn't forget about him. What Ben did was wrong, no doubt, but he didn't assault a fan(even if the fan deserved it to an extent). Ben did over react on the foul call, but that happens all the time in the NBA. Players get emotional and these things just happen. Provoking Artest was far worse, and stupid of Ben as the game was lost, but is nothing compared to assaulting a fan. What Artest did does not happen often at all, which is why it will be interesting to see how many games he is suspended.

You Pistons fans should be ashamed...That's all I have to say. You can't handle losing. Bottem Line.
