I dissagree. Artest should've never went up in the stands, and went after a fan. I do think that beer shoould be banned from all NBA games. If this is what it's going to cause, it has no business being in sports. He should've been mad, but he never should go after a spectator. If it were a player, I would understand. I just can't believe this...
The fans hit some of the pacers who were trying to stop Artest. They were just hitting any players they could. Hitting players who were on the floor who could do nothing about it.

But the killer is after he threw the beer he started running but Artest jumped the seats and grabbed him by the hair and it looked like banged his head on the seat.

damn, thats just crazy. i think ben overreacted on the foul. artest and jackson were bashing fans and beating people which i think is not right even though i would be real mad if someone threw beer at me. but wow never seen anything like that.

If you had read my post before you would have read that it's just my opinion. I was exited when I posted that anyway. The Pistons are a good team but what I meant was that the refs tryed swinging the momentum in their favor.What's done is done now. Let's just wait and see what the leauge does.
all I have to say is, put yourself in Artest's situation. I can honestly say I would've done the same, and don't like and say "nah I would've stayed calm." You either have reached a higher state of being and can overlook all petty things in life or you need to check for balls in your pants...its easy to sit infront of your computer and say "I would've done the right thing and stayed calm."
Dang, I just saw the very end where Artest decked the Pistons fan that came up to him with his fists up, and Artest decks him. Then as O'Neal is walking off a fan walks up to him, and he decks him. This is just unbelievable!

Suspend the players for at least a game (or maybe 10 games, at the most), and leave it at that. The Detroit fan's actions shouldn't be rewarded by crippling their #1 rival for the rest of the season.
