I'm baffled (as usual) with the Eagles front office with this one. Today, Trotter is meeting with the Chiefs and are supposedly close to a deal. If they don't re-sign him, they better find a better MLB than Simonotackle. According to his agent, the Eagles aren't going to give him the money that he wants, but I don't think the deal he got last year was what he was looking for either.

I hope he goes to the Chiefs. I think the Eagles will find a way to fill that position.

I didn't say replace, but fill.

I'm sure he's pointing at his undeserved Pro Bowl bid this year and trying to leverage more money in his contract with it.

This doesn't make any sense. What are they thinking? Was Trotter trying to get a huge payday?

What the hell did they resign 'Buck for? They just gave him a 2 year deal. Confusing as usual.

Trotter is a MLB, right? We could use his run-stuffing ability. I think I would have rather had Coakley (Darn stinking Rams!), but Trotter would still be a big improvement for us.

This would be a great addition to the Chiefs D.

The Philly D IMO just didn't seem the same w/o him.

The Cheifs had a great linebacker in Donnie Edwards, but they let him go in his prime.

Trotter should go money, given the fact that the Eagles wont win a SB with McNabb as a QB.

ok justbry it did take Mcnabb 4 shots to do it. But look at it this way. The team that Mcnabb won agaianst was the Falcons. we could not do it to any other team. And we are still lined up to get in the superbowl next year. And by now vick should have it in his head that he can not beat Mcnabb(Eagles).

True they did beat the Falcons to get to the SB. You wont be in SB next year though, nor does Vick have it in his head that he cant beat McNabb and the Eagles.

The Dolphins beat the Patriots. Dont count the Falcons out. I'm counting on a better year from Vick and the team as a whole next season.

ALmost all the post that involes Philidelphia or Atlanta always lead to McNabb vs Vick, its inevitable.

Haha, so true. You kinda get used to it after a while. It's like a rivalry now.
