I have to go with Gerald Wallace from the Bobcats or Kyle Korver from the 76ers.

Well, I'll have to go with Kyle Korver or Maurice Williams. Kyle Korver is playing great this year and his shooting stroke has gotten better, Mo Williams is having a great year in Milwaukee due to there injured point gaurds TJ Ford, Mike James. I knew Mo was capable of this and I expected it but not so soon.

I think it's unfair to say the players on the bobcats are most suprising, i mean they're obviosuly gonna start, and get the most playing time. So that's not really suprse.

What kind of question is this? Grant HILL. Yes Kyle Korver has been doing good but I still don't think he's been as much as a suprise as Grant Hill. Coming off of numerous injuries, he has been averaging 20 PPG! He was labeled as a has been and he's back for good. Also KORVER and Simmons also have been suprising everyone.

Bobby Simmons hands down. He came out of no where for the Clippers and has improved his offensive game tremendously.

Honorable mention goes to Keith McLeod who filled in admirably for Carlos Arroyo.

Okay, well what about the teams? I'm not talking about players here, what about the teams? Which teams have surprised you?

Sonics, Clippers, Hornets(0-7)? Sonics led by Ray Allen. Clippers have had players explode, namely Bobby Simmons, Chris Wilcox and the usuals. Hornets have been playing so bad standing at 0-7. Oh and I forgot to mention this player as a suprise player, Ridnour Luke. He has been doing OUTSTANDING.

We're talking about "Surprise players" here, not "expected to be good" players.

Gerald Wallace was expected to carry the bobcats. No surprise there.

Korver was already known to be able to produce if given the time. Hardly a surprise if he does well.

Definitely NOT Grant Hill... are you kidding me? Anyone that's into basketball know that he's a damn good player when he's healthy. The fact that he's doing so well might be a bit of a surprise, but I mean come on, this is Grant Hill here. Not really a surprise here either.

It's a suprise his ankle is holding up, It's a suprise he's been averaging 20 points per game. It's a suprise Grant Hill is doing good.

Well, I guess I see your point, but the question is who's the surprise 'player', not who's the surprise 'ankle'.

Fine fine, I'll give it to ya.

Grant Hill: has probably made the greatest comeback in NBA history hands down. He has 20.5 PPG a career high of being a Orlando Magic. Although hes not as good as his Detroit games I dont think anyone saw him averagin 20 PPG this season. If he keeps this up he will greatly earn the Most Improved Player award even though he went from great to poor but back to great.

Kyle Korver: AS a Sixer fan it is great to see him this year. I think we may have found the perfect scoring partner to Iverson. Kyle Korver will become a great player. AT least a great shooter. Something that Philly is going to need.

With the trade rumours flying around Glenn Robinson, we might get something legitamite this season. If not this season, we will have some cap room to work with by buying out Robinson's contract. Also there are trade rumours of Vince Carter and Philly, can't wait to hear more of that.

Kyle Korver has really stepped up and proven that he is not just a pushover. He has averaged 12-4-2 so far this season, he has really proven me and all the other doubters wrong. But what about Rafer Alston? I saw him having a bg year but not this big. He has put up 15-4-6 a night, and has really bulked up, in hbis increased role. Also speaking of another Raptor, un-drafted free-agent Matt Bonner has really played well. He is putting up 8-4-.5 a night, in a very limited role.

Yea, Alonzo Mourning and Alston are suprises too. I thought the Raptors made a horrible choice of signing Rafer to that sick contract but I guess its all worth it. Alonzo and Grant Hill are both putting up good/great numbers despite almost career-costing injuries, that is damn impressive

Kyle Korver. He has been provideing a spark for the 76ers in every one of their games so far, I am looking forward to see him in the 3 point contest this year because the kid can just flat out shoot. Runner-Up is Grant Hill, he would be #1 but everyone knows if he is healthy he can proform well.
