Only beat me by 3 minutes! Oh well. As I said in the other thread, Pistons should stay with what they have. They don't have to tamper with chemistry.
i would like to see VC in a pistons uni. i think the pistons could get him for cheap, and get a good shooter. i think VC would be happy in detriot to, cause he goes from a pretender, to a contender
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Dunkzilla20:</div><div class="quote_post">Nah man... The pistons would have to give Big ben and an other player in return</div> Get real, Vince isn't the player he was. You would be lucky to get more than Campbell,Mcdyess and Coleman. Pistons already have a better player in Rip Hamilton playing shooting guard, I don't see why Vince Carter would be needed.
If we could get him without breaking up the starting 5 and use him as a sixth man I'd say go for it. Otherwise no way.
^ i must disagree and say vince is better than rip...not as young...but i think he's better when he puts his heart into it... a team like detroit and a coach like larry brown would probably bring him back to top 10
I dont totally agree with you 02civic. Like said before Vince isnt the player that he once was. He has changed alot. I think the money changed him like many before. He has no heart for the game like he once had. When i see him play now I dont see the passion in his eyes. Remember when the Raptors made the playoffs? There was passion in his eyes. He was out there playing his heart out. I dont even think that Larry Brown can change that. Rip is great player and Detroit dont need Vince.
