I really thought Deng would start all of these games, but I just don't understand it. Gordon was doing bad, also...but it was because of a slow start...so I think him and Deng both should be back into the starting five, especially Deng. Skiles looks more like the problem in Chicago.
Man sounds bad in here. Since I couldn't see the game all i could do is look at the stat line and judging by that I would have said kobe's play was pretty solid except for uncharacteristic free throw shooting. 29-10-7 looks good from here. but man it sounds bad from what y'all are telling me. Especially if his foot is bothering him.
I think the foot is defenetly bothering KB, that could be the reason for the 8-17 ft and for the 9 TO. KB played good but the FT is just one game so we shouldn't worry. GOOD GAME Overall even though we should have blown the Bulls early in the third/fourth. One word: DEFENSE!!!!
I didint see the game or anything was he limping or was it noticeable at all becuase lately he has been turning the ball over alot and seems a step slow.
Alot of those turnovers were from passes that were either too hard or in front of guys...like Cook and Butler (don't know why for Caron). Cook couldn't hang onto a Kobe Bryant pass if his life depended on it, and Caron wasn't playing really well in this game anyways. Kobe had about 10 passes that should've been assists...but were either turnovers or the guy fumbled it around on the fast break and had to pull away from the hoop.
If he is shwing signs that his foot is bothering him that concernsme because he will proably try to play through it. And that might make it a lot worse. I hope gary vitti keeps a close eye on him and the injury.

I think the injury is worse then what the Lakers Org. is telling us. I think that when he goes for the jumper the foot must hurt or something. The only good thing out of it is that he knew that he wasn?t going to make the long jumper so he penetrated or pass to the open guy.
Maybe it isn't his foot. Maybe he just isn't doing good. And wow, now his free-throw percentage will be 39% too, before ya know it.Then he'll definitly have no leverage over Shaq.
Man this game was over quick. Over here when I got back I figure it probaly be in the last 6 minutes of the game but they were already on beyond the glory. Ha,ha the Lakers played lousy and still won by ten. And dang Kobes freethrow shooting was a surprise. I left with 5 minutes to go in the first and he was 4/10 from the line. Ends up 8 of 17 damn. Oh well at least they got the W and wasn't the first to fall to the Bulls.
ok well concerning kobe's free throw performances, didn't u all notice that most of the time, the ball went in, rattled around the rim, then came out? my guess isnt really his foot , but rather a poor shooting night. anyway back to the subject, lakers derserve the win, not because they were good, but because the bulls were bad in the 4th quarter. too many questionable shots, forced shots, indecisiveness (remember how deng was open, and he stood there thinking what to do next?), and most importantly, leaving the shooters too much room. all night the lakers were driving and dishing, and the bulls were so concerned with the drive they failed to notice other players around the perimeter. and when they tried to guard the perimemter in the 4th quarter, it gave Chris Mihm a little too much space to work inside.
Well I hear they we played horrible but as someone who just looked at the stats it seems like the lakers are actually improving besides Kobe's very surprising FT shooting. Lol if he would have shot his usual average from the line he would have had about 34 points. If I didn't hear all of this talk I would have thought from the past few days that kobe was maybe starting to make an effort to elevate his game. Wouldn't that be crazy if a sg averaged 10 boards a game.
No surprise here in our win by one of the worst road teams in the league, the Chicago Bulls. I didn't watch the game due to not having League Pass, but with mostly the starting lineup in double figures, and the Lakers crashing the boards consistently, that pretty much did the job last night. Something to still be concerned with however, Kobe's shot selections. 10-22 just shows maybe he was rushing too many of his shots, his foot injury still probably a liability, or of course perhaps being a bit too selfish which he can tend to be at times. Our turnover ratio is still a bit high, we'd need to cut down on that dramatically. But I'll be content with this win. 6-5 through eleven games isn't that bad at all, but I just want to see the Lakers beat a Western Conference team thoroughly. That way I can decide whether our record is legit or not.
This win to me was a No-Brainer. The Lakers were going to hand the worst team in the NBA a Loss. And they did that.so this was a win that was pretty much going to happen
