Was Kevin O'neil holding Lammond Murray back? You start to wonder, Lammond was saying he set him up to fail, and you know it was hard to believe it then, but suddenly now he looks like he knows how to play baskebtall again.

The team started out hitting jumpshots, especially Carter and Rose, and when that happened I know it wouldn't be good for those two because they love it.

MoPete hit's shots He was supposed to be another guy that would benefit a lot from the fastbreak offense, but has had half his attempts as three's, and has shot 33.3% and 30.3% 3PT, so it's good to finally see him have a good game offensively.

Palacio shouldn't have played at all, we should've just kept him on the bench, and what happened to the Spurs in the 4th quarter , 9 points, haha.

Bosh had a good game, he scored 20, but 7-16, and 6-10 from the line, he got to the line though, and he has been struggling from the line for some reason . Also 10 rebounds, and 2 blocks, I had almost forgoten the days of Bosh swatting people like a beast, but Calvin Booth hasn't

Carter and Rose played 24 minutes a piece, and look at the lines:

    Carter: 4 points, 2 rebounds, 1assists, 1 turnovers, 3 steals, 1 blocks, 2-9 FG

    Rose: 8 points, 1 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 turnover, 3-8

For Carter at least he drove, 4 of his misses were withing 11 FT, those little runners I'm guessing, I didn't see the whole game just most of it, but that's likely what they were.

Rose started hot shooting jumpshots, so he only drove one more time apart from the time he got fouled, the rest were just jumpshots.

Isn't that great [IMG] . If we trade Carter we're going to have to get Rose out with him, this was one of the reasons he was traded from Chicago, take away Rose's minutes, and he changes from a leader and energizer to an angry Rose which isn't good.

Get some three way trade going where they both get out, because if we trade with Memphis, Rose will probably still be here, and that's not going to work because with Bonzi and Miller, Rose will probably get even less minutes.

i've been arguing this for the entire season, we don't need carter or rose. aside from lammond who was hot from outside, bosh and rafer were finishing strong at the hoop against tim duncan. when times get tough bosh and rafer come out swinging. honestly at this point of the season i've would trade away the two malcontents for cap space cause i believe in these guys. and btw, mo pete made like david copperfield and made manu ginobli disappear in that fourth quarter.

    LETS GO RAPTORS!!!!

^This also doesn't make him look too good.

I kinda noticed that but i didnt want to believe it, i cant believe what has happened to carter, its hard to imagine that he was one of the best players in the league and he was compared to jordan. but then again, everyones compared to jordan now.

has anybody else noticed that the team seems to neglect Vince on the floor? I flew from Chicago just to watch this game and I felt like Vince nevere got enough touches which really pissed me off. But it was a great comeback win though, hopefully this can motivate the whole team = to more wins + overall better performance from Carter.

Sam mitchells offense involves everyone running the floor. Even the big men, so when the ball always goes to carter and he makes like 20 or so shots a night it doesnt benefit the team. he may put up points but it aint what mithcell wants. he wants everyone to get involved e.g mo pete and matt bonner. with them playing everyone is revitalized and pump because they hustle and thats what the coach wants 2 c. Sam does not want 2 c a playe that has the status of franchise player written all over him. that is why he sits vince and jalen. I like jalens play and all but vince is the problem right now. just send him off to memphis like i've said b4 and get bonzi and miller over here! it will benefit both teams. memphis may get more out of it, but who cares we need to win some games, and it is tough enough in the west as it is right now. congrats to the raps! exciting game, i watched the hwole thing and luved! lamond murray and skip and mo and Bosh thank you guys for steppin up! if it werent for u guys i would've been doin homework!

I'm sorry to hear you were dissapointed in Carter's performance, but he's going to keep that up until he's traded so next time you consider coming to Toronto, come to watch Bosh, not Carter. It's time for a change of scenery for the goods of both Carter and the Raptors. Vince didn't get the touches because when he got them he just jacked up fade-aways from beyond 20 ft. 70% of the time.

Anyway, anybody have any idea when D-Marshall might be back in action? With the deeper bench that the Raps have this season, Donyell's absence is hardly noticed but I'd love to have him back soon.

Wow Tim Duncan was a beast and you still overcame his great game and won. Good Job Raptors. Vince Carter's stock on the trading block is going down every game he plays. They should trade him soon before he isn't worth anything. [IMG] Pretty soon the Blazers will be trading you a 2nd round pick for him [IMG]

^^ya know what? i dont think his stock is taking that big a hit. there is no question in my mind that vince is capable of putting up all-star numbers. he did last year (avg'ing 22, 5 and 5) but this year he isnt getting the minutes or the touches to do so. he's still got everything he had last year in terms of skill...he just isnt getting the rock enough to do what he is capable of doing.

anyone who's interested in getting vince carter knows its the same vince as last year...he's just not happy where he is playing and not getting the touches he needs to be as effective as he's been

why would the raptors want to give the rock to a player who doesn't even want to play for them and shows no passion or heart...and contested fade aways

he's as good as he ever was. I'd bet any money that he'd dominate with another team just to show he still has it in him. He's a lame duck right now...he knows it'll get him out of there. I dont think he's doing it on purpose...sort of a back of his mind thing.
i say trade him...and wish him luck. He's a great guy and player...but there's no going back now. The relationship is destroyed.

I don't know if he's doing it on purpose but he said "I will just try to do what coach Mitchell wants me to do," then he should have kept to his words and drove to the basket instead of taking fade-aways with like 18 seconds left on the shotclock. There's no question that the tie is broken between him and the city of Toronto when it comes down to basketball.

Whenever VC has a bad game, Bosh seems to have a pretty good game...
Id rather see Bosh get the ball 20 x now than VC, at least bosh has some balls, and heart as compared to Vicky Carter.....

Actually he only had 2 shots 20 ft and out, and one of those was made, the other make was the 15 ft jumper he made to start out, and then 18 and 19 ft jumper, and the post up from rim and some of those drives and runner or whatever it is he does, tear drop/runner/whatever in the lane were the misses.

Bosh currently turns the ball over to get it that much, but Vince doesn't get the ball anyways, it seems like we like to run plays for Jalen [IMG]

Here's the shotchart versus the Spurs.

5 out of 9 shots were outside 18 ft.

...and, isn't that what I said? lol

Your quote was "jacked up fade-aways from beyond 20 ft. 70% of the time"

5/9 = 55.6%, and only 2 shots were from 20 ft or beyond, so I don't know what that was for lol.

Oh I wasn't trying to prove you wrong lol
I didn't have the exact figure when I posted the first reply so I thought I'd go get the shot chart. It's all good.
