<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Avery:</div><div class="quote_post"> Not really. You as well as Erin (NBA Girl) are discrediting him way too much. You guys are right about him playing as garbage however you are only right to a certain degree because obviously he was indeed garbage offensively. But if you look at what he did PG wise, he did alright.</div> You're talking about Willie, right? Well, I agree that he did play good PG but if he can't produce off the offensive end then...?
You're talking about Willie, right? Well, I agree that he did play good PG but if he can't produce off the offensive end then...? Yes, I am talking about Willie Green. But I do understand what you're saying. Yes I know he was horrible on the offensive end, but O'Brien assigned him to the PG position that night and as a PG he did his job, so he deserves credit for that. However, if he was assinged to the SG position and had a night like that then I can't argue over that. That's when you would be able to discredit him all you want, but as a PG he did his job.
Yahoo had Willie Geen listed as the top performer with 5 boards 10 assists and 6pts on 1-14 shooting and 4-4 FT shooting
IT doesnt really matter if Willie doesnt produce much on the offensive end. We have many scoring options in Corliss Willaismson, Allen Iverson, Kyle Korver, Marc Jackson, Kenny Thomas( hasnt done it yet) and Andre Igoudala are all people who are capable of scoring in and out. IT does help if WIllie scores, but it isn't a must for us to win. What we dont want is Willie taking bad shots. WE also need a rebounder. I think our leading rebounder is Mark Jackson with like 6.5 or sometin. THats not too good. Edit: O no I forgot Willie is on my fanstasy team, HE BETTER STEP IT UP NOW! lol
