Here is where i will have the eastern conferance playoff race as well as my predictions. Current Standings 1. Miami(1st SE Division 8-3) 2. Indiana(1st Central Division 7-3) 3. Philadelphia (1st Atlantic Division 4-6) 4. Orlando (6-3) 5. Cleveland (6-4) 6. Washington (5-4) 7. Detroit (5-4) 8. Boston (3-4) I personally think that the Atlantic division is the weakest division. There is NO team with a winning record in it. Here are what teams i think have a shot at playoffs in the east in order from greatest to least. Miami Cleveland Orlando Detroit Washington Indiana Philadelphia Milwaukee Boston Toronto New York Teams that dont have a chance at playoffs or very unlikely chance: New Jersey Chicago Atlanta Charlotte 3 out of the 11 teams i listed wont make the playoffs. Here is what i think the final seeds will be Miami (1) Cleveland/Detroit (2) Philadelphia (3) Orlando (4) Cleveland/Detroit (5) Indiana (6) Washington (7) Boston (8) For cleveland/detroit it is whoever wins their division will probably get 2nd seed. after knowing artest out for the season, s.jackson for 30 games, j.oneal for 25 games, you still predict they can make it at the 6th? for me i'll count them out to the playoff :thumbsdow , or at the most, they can only manage to get the 8th...i think new york can make it this year. well, since this is just a prediction, i will predict shaq will out for a short period since he always will have some small injuries...and i predict we can win the division! Well i believe that the Indiana pacers have talent even with their 3 main players out. They dont even miss half the season. 30 games is a lot but its not enough to take them out of the playoff race. The pacers are a good team and i think they will get 6th in the East. Anyone in that division can win just about other then chicago. I just think 6ers have the best team and talent.
