<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Silky Smooth:</div><div class="quote_post">What he said to reports sounded like sarcascim to me.Im not suprised he was joking, this situation was blown way out of proportion.</div> Obviously, he hates the reporters and was just angry at the question the were asking him, if you watched the interview you would see that as opposed to just reading it on the internet. About Clips, I'll ty to find some.
My friend told me that on sportscenter, they played teh tape of vince saying: i don't wanna dunk anymore, then they quoted it on the bottom of the screen while he dunked on sum1 from the wizards, then they played a tape vince sayin gotcha..., just what i heard.
If it wasn't a joke, it might be his way of getting out of Toronto. I mean, a team's first priority (except Clippers) is to win a championship. If they can't do that then they have to sell tickets. Toronto can sell tickets if Carter plays. But by not dunking, Carter may discourage people to attend games and then Toronto might be more willing to trade him.
Once upon a time, Vince Carter was the most popular athlete in the NBA How'd you think that happened ? By hitting fadeaways and bank shots all night ? Vince don't do it man you're only 27 you can bring out the magic(I hope) ????????? Can somebody plz page Freddy Weis ? tell him to give carter a call or sthg ? thank you
You're slow man.. He's gotten out of the slump he self-induced on himself and he had 4 nice dunks over the last couple of games.
I think its cause people say hes only good at dunking and that he hates Toronto. Hopefully the fans and the organization can trade him
Anybody remember Jordan talking about dunking less to conserve energy back in the day? I swear, I heard that on tv or in the paper back in the 90's, during his first 3 year reign. Said he was going to the layup as well. But two three was still averaging 32+ 6+ 6+ when he said it, unlike Vince.
Dont you get it, he doesn't want to play for Toronto anymore, he won't produce...like he used to..all in all he's just not motivated. He needs a change. Honestly, do you really think VC is scared to dunk or doesn't want to dunk anymore, to me thats nonsense.
No man, it's the media, you'd understand if you were here, and also if you watch the interview as opposed to just reading the captions on the internet, but that's not why he was saying that, it was just because of the questions he was being asked.
