Still listening to it, but I heard Theodore Unit's - 718 was supposed to be real good just that no one really bought it, but it's supposed to be real nice, I'm going to have to check that out.

Best of 2004? Don't know yet, Alchemist is up there, and Mobb Deep was pretty good too, but I'll see T-Unit first.

I've always been a huge fan of Nas so I can't wait to hear what he has to say.

I'm a little dissapointed, Theif's Theme had me thinking the Album would all be like that, but it seems like only his singles are good songs, and I don't know, have to listen to it a little more. Theif's theme is still sick though, best song on the Album for sure.

I heard the album was a total letdown, I heard he had a very monotonous flow, boring beats and average songs..can you confirm taht?

I downloaded a few songs off of First Infantry. It seems that the song that sticks out the most is Dead Bodies, which he did with the Game. The beat is pretty good and the lyrics stick out too.

One thing to me that rates how good a CD is is if I can listen to the whole thing without skipping tracks, I can't do that with Street's Disciple.

With 1st Infantry I can basically listen to every song on the CD and have done it many times, it also starts off good right off the bat, Dead Bodies is definately hot.

This site: http://www.sixshot.com/articles/4631/ gave Steet's Disciple 6 of 6 shots, and 1st Infantry 4 of 6. I don't know man, I'm going to have to listen to it a little more to be able to make a comclusion like that.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Alhemist":</div><div class="quote_post">Skippable: "It's a Craze", "D-Block to QB", "The Essence", "Boost the Crime Rate"</div>

I don't know man, he also said Live Now was a tight song, and another reviewer said it was bad, but I actually didn't mind it - here's the one http://www.byroncrawford.com/2004/11/nas_streets_dis.html reviews every song, the guy hates Al though, said he spammed his site [IMG]

Best Album? Maybe, I'll have to see...

I define a good cd as one that gets better the more you listen to it. I always like Nas' lyrics and that is why I'm buying the album. Sure the beats have to be tight but lyrically Nas makes you listen.

That is true, but I heard on this album some of the songs were very weak and the content of the songs were pathetic..I dont know I will give it a listen before and if I buy it...

Nas is a lot about his lyrics, I'm going to listen to it again totally today, it's definately a "good" album, but I can't call it very good, or "great" as of now.

Just listened to this whole Album again, and it's sick man, it's a good album, still has competition, but one of the best double albums I've heeard.

This is real nice though, I want to listen to Theodore Unit - 718 and MM Doom - MM...Food before I can make a decision on the best albums this year though, but this album is definately better the second time around.

Lol og15, you started out saying it was a dissapointment to saying that it was one of the best double albums. But I do that sometimes too though, so I guess it's alright.

Just after the first listen I wasn't feeling it that much, but I listened to it quickly and I skipped some songs who's intro's didn't sound too hot, but I listened to the whole thing and it's definately hot.

The thing is, with most of Nas' albums, you really have to listen to it over and over to really like it. In fact for me thats usually what I'm like with all albums, it will sound terrible at the start, but I'll stick with it and eventually I will love it. I'll probably listen to it before I buy it.
