Tonight the Kings(6-4)host the Rockets(6-6)at Arco arena for the 2nd meeting between the 2 teams this season. The last meeting was a really good matchup with Houston winning at home, but we have a really great record at home,so we have the advantage. T-Mac and Yao are powerful and have made the Rockets a great team this year, even though they have lost some games recently, there still a force to be reckoned with. The Kings can win this game if we get great efforts from Peja,Webber,Jackson,Miller, and Bibby, and start a good Defensive drive, than we can pull off the win.If we let ourselves go and let Yao and T-Mac get on us,than Houston will win. Kings 96 Rockets 95
yeah, with them loosing the last game in OT, I think they are going to be lookin for a little payback. I cant see Yao taking over the game so take t-mac out of the game & it should be an easy win for the Kings
Lets hope playing at Arco arena Haberofdoom and Thrilla will be able to cool the Rocket's engines so to speak. I'm hoping that the Kings do get some sweet revenge against the Rockets,But don't underestimate the Rockets either...Still I Believe the Kings will pull off a win

Besides hurting him.. As much as I wanted the Rockets to win... My heart says Rockets but my head tells me Kings Either way, should be a good game for us!
You take him out by double teaming him, making sure you help on defense my making the switches correctly and working through the picks, force him into a bad shot selection. one thing that the Kings didnt have available to them the last time these two teams played was Christie.... no one is going to say that christie will win a game by himself, but in this situation, he is better suited to keeping t-mac out of his rhythem than anyone else on the Kings which which helps out a lot on defense. they do that & force Yao to take the entry too high on a consistan basis, they will win this game. (of course they could just pour it on offensivly & that would work too... i guess we will just have to wait & see which way they go tonight....lol)
I just want to say this before this game is over because I dont want people thinking I am making excuses for anyone. the officials in this game SUCK. pure and simple they are blowing calls everywhere...
Kings win a solid one. This is a big one before going into Staples on friday for a rivalry game against the Lakers.
WOW kings win 102-96.... man what a game. Here are some things you never thought you were going to hear: 1) Miller owned Yao in the 4th. (couldnt hit a shot to save his life, but forced Yao into bad shots, forced turnovers, forced him into traveling a couple times) 2) Bobby Jackson kept going straight at Yao... and winning 3) Stojakovic's defense against T-Mac while Christie was on the bench was solid. Not solid for Stojakovic... just plain solid. 4) Three straignt come from behind wins for the Kings. Not something you are used to getting from the Kings
What? Come from behind wins? You guys led for most of the game until the end of the 3rd quarter or somewhere there...Rockets took a brief lead that's all. Anyway how did the Rockets look tonight? (wanted another fan's point of view instead of fellow rockket fans)

(wanted another fan's point of view instead of fellow rockket fans)</div>Rockets didnt exactly look bad.. Yao was off to a good start in the first half & Sac had no answers for him. It wasnt really untill Ostertag came in that they started really bothering him. T-Mac got off to a kind of slow start came on strong in the second & early part of the third & then just basicly started to fade & by around half way through the fourth he just disappeared alltogether. I dont get to watch a lot of Rockets games, so I dont know if this is typical... but they had 18 TOs in this game and most of them were just careless... This will pretty much put the rest in perspective Yao had 29, T-mac had 25 & the next closest was Lue who had 13. they just didnt get much from anyone else & that makes them pretty one dimensional. by comparison, the Kings had seven players in double figures with no dbl dbls. (although, Bibby came pretty close to a triple double getting 10 pts, 9 rbs and 8 asts) and every player that put in minutes scored...Ostertag had 5 and Barnes had 2 pts and 3 rbs and looked pretty good in the six minutes he played)

That's why alot of us Rockets fans had been crying out for a REAL point guard. Charlie Ward ain't cuttin it. Lue... I'm not gonna even bother. If we only have a decent playmaking PG, we'd be worlds better.
I Just wanted to say i was Impressed with the Game, and the Kings played really good ball.I Figured the Rockets would keep the game closer, but overall it was a good game and a win for the Kings. I Really liked the way the Kings defense held their own against T-Mac and Yao.It wasn't really dominating Defense, but it was good enough for a victory. Overall this was one of the best wins of the season so far.
