Now do we all understand why Lammond Murray comes off the bench?

Okay, good, MoPete should never drive, I've hated on him before for not driving, but he doesn't draw the foul, and just throws up garbage, air ball layups, wild shots, and his attempt at a statue of liberty dunk, man. He did have the put back dunk, but that was all.

Rebounds, free throws and some Raptors turnovers late in the game killed the game for us. The Raptors came out hitting their shots, especially Vince, but they were horrible on the boards, they let so many offensive rebounds and we just not doing it on the glass.

Carter had a good game, he didn't play bad defensively either, but the free throws were horrible. I don't know why Mitchell calls him out saying guys that normally hit their free throws shouldn't miss, at least he was getting to the line and playing well today. I don't think Mitchell likes Carter too much...

Rafer played pretty bad, a lot of his assists were from Carter's jumpers, but he had some bad turnovers, the one where he was trying to throw the ball up to Bonner or MoPete don't know who, and he had them at the wrong times, 2 turnvoers after we cut the lead down to 6 points.

In the first half, Dixon and Hughes were taking horrible shots, they weren't even thinking twice before they shot and just launching them up. Arenas had one of the most quiet scoring outputs, out of nowhere they show the stats and he has 11-4-4, and it didn't even seem like he was doing much. The Wizards were up at the half due to second chance points, and Jamison was carrying the team offensively scoring in all different ways, and also getting on the glass hismelf

I knew Rafer loved the 3 ball, but 10 three point attempts is a little too much, and I knew Arenas could take Rafer, but I thought he'd have his against Arenas also, but that wasn't the case as he went 6-18 even though he had 20 points. His scoring wasn't too impressive, and he had a few airballs off the drive.

We also shot horrible from the line, going 19-33 [57.6%], which really hurt us in the game. The team didn't go to the line in the first half really, Bosh I think was the only guy to go, but in the second half they were getting to the line but not converting.

This 3rd quarter garbage is getting rediculous, we came out playing a zone a little, Hughes who had been taking horrible shots, and Arenas started hitting from the outside, and they just blew the game open with them hitting and us not rebounding.

The Wizards had a 4th quarter breakdown and Arenas also dissapeared for a lot of the 4th, it was like he wasn't even playing, he came back later and made some drives and a shot, but the 4th quarter was pretty bad for the Wiz. The Wizards missed I think 6 in a row.

The Wizards were not hitting anything, and we just couldn't capitalize because of missed FT's, like I said, we cut it down to 7 had some turnovers they got the lead back up, then we cut it down to 6, and then Rafer turned it over, and Jamison took over, then Hughes and Arenas hit some more and it was just over.

JJ capped it off with his three [IMG]

Okay game, we really need to rebound, I don't know who wasn't doing their rebounding duties, Bosh had 10, Woods 10, Carter 9, Alston 6, I guess Bonner 4 in 28 minutes, and Lammond and MoPete who had 3 offensive but only one defensive, but that was just bad.

    Sunday is the rematch...

Toronto will be an angry team tommorow at home vs. NYK however, I feel it will be to no avail losing to NYK. I didn't see the game but, I'm guessing it was pretty bad getting smacked by the Wizards.

Wasn't a smacking, the Wizards we only up by 9, and JJ hit a three right at the end to make the game look wide open, but it was much closer than the score tells.

I missed the whole game but it seems like it's a good thing I missed it. Reading the comments it appears that this game was won on the boards. I really hope Babcock's looking to get a center in a Carter deal. Our front court is way too inconsistent and it's killing us right now.
