<div class="quote_poster">Quoting mrj18:</div><div class="quote_post">Again the Sixers have nothing interesting to offer the Knicks. The Knicks will only trade a player playing well and seems to be fitting in well for equal or more value which they will not recieve.</div> How do you know? Are you the GM for the NEw York Knicks? I don't know if you are, but I HIGHLY doubt it. I'm sure if the Sixers offered Allen Iverson for Allan Houston the Knicks would be interested. The Sixers wouldn't do this, but it is a deal that would interest the knicks. I think the knicks would be fairly interested in Kenny Thomas, as he is a good player he just isn't fitting in to Jim O Brians system.
The Sixers need more depth inside instead of another swingman...it looks like O'Brien is unhappy with Kenny Thomas, maybe if u package him with McKie u can get a decent frontcourt player...

Well, what if S.A. offered Duncan for TT. The Knicks wouldn't the Knicks be interested? The Spurs wouldn't be interested in this but, it is a deal that would interest the Knicks. To make a long story short, Kurt Thomas is a great fit in our system why would we disrupt chemistry for a player not as good as Kurt Thomas? I assure you the Knicks aren't interested in Kenny Thomas. The last thing we need is an undersized PF.

Isiah has already tampered with a set chemistry with the Van Horn trade. Kenny Thomas is actually what the Knicks don't need, an undersized PF who has no real range. We need a PF who can perform off the pick and roll and can be counted on to put points on the board. Kurt Thomas is exactly that, with his high FG% for a mid-range/outside shooting PF, he has a great %. Kenny Thomas is in <u>NO WAY</u> a better fit for the Knicks than Kurt Thomas, everyone knows that, even Isiah. There is really not a single way in which he will perform better-not one category. I see Kurt staying with New York unless we can get a player at his level or more likely - at a higher level. Kenny Thomas simply doesn't fall into such a field.

I watched one knicks game this season, it was that game against the Rockets where Jamol Crawford it the game winning. I believe Kurt Thomas did have a great game scoring something like 21 points and 11 rebounds if i remember correctly. I do see ISsiah tradin Thomas, but for something good. I belive he could do some deal such as Kenny Thomas, Glenn Robinson, Aaron McKIe for Kurt Thomas, Jerome Brewer, its just something I xccan see happening as Kenny THomas is a very talented player, just in a system he cannot play in. I didn't know knick fans were going to come in and bash me cuz I just said a possible trade that could possibly happen that they did not like

That trade will not happen, that's why we (Mrj and I) shot it down, it wasn't going to happen. Sorry if you felt 'bashed', but it was with the truth. (BTW- his name is Jamison Brewer not Jerome Brewer)
