Their are two threads about cds, why not just make an official thread.. I have a question I am a huge Eminem fan and I consider his Marshal Mathers LP cd a classic, why cant he do taht anymore. Encore started out blazing hot up until Puke. Then after that he has two more good songs, Mockingbird and Spend Some Time. He has his stupid single Just Lose it, he has two songs I can listen to because I think they are funny...Rain Man and Ass Like that, the skits are hilarious but he has garbage on this cd...Big Weenie, Just Lose It, One Shot 2 Shot...has he lost his hunger or was it just a bad album (everyone has one). I believe he can easily make a classic with songs such as Marshal Mathers, Yellow Brick Road, Lose Yourself, Sing for the Moment, Til I Collapse..you know songs that arent your stupid poppy sh*t...and he will still sell, he is the biggest rapper in the game. I am looking at the tracks from his last 3 albums (Encore, Eminem Show, and MMLP) and he has some blazing joints on there, basically all of the MMLP (besides KIM) off of TES he has: White America Cleanin Out My Closet Square Dance Soldier Say Goodbye Hollywood Sing For The Moment Superman Hailie's Song When The Music Stops Say What You Say Till I Collapse and on Encore (including bonus cd) he has: Evil Deeds Never Enough Yellow Brick Road Like Toy Soldiers Mosh Spend Some Time Mockingbird Encore / Curtains Down We As Americans [Bonus track] Ricky Ticky Toc [Bonus track] Anyone have an opinion on this? Has he lost all of his skills or was it just a bad album that everyone gets?
i havnt listened to the entire album, and i prolly wont. the two singles he's released so far are really terrible imo...especially just lose it. such blatantly obvious attempts to piss people off and shock value. its not shocking anymore...only to overly conservative retards who bitch and moan about constitutional rights but also demand censorship for albums like this. its not even offensive to the average person anymore because he's like marilyn manson now...we all know he's just doing what he's doing to sell records. which brings up the point that he COULD make an album that isnt full of catchy made for mainstream radio hooks. he COULD drop an album thats true to what real hip hop is supposed to be about, but lets face it...what would he rather do? "keep it real" on continue to make millions of dollars? the music speaks for itself
Red Light District has leaked, I am going to check it out ill post my opinion on it later... Edit: Def not feeling it, Not my type of music. There are two songs on there i like "Child of the Night" and the one with Trick Daddy (forget the name right now)..
I have heard various rumors that Usher is gay...I heard that on his first cd he admitted to being Bi and recently on the Oprah show admitted to being Bi again...can any of confirm this because I think it would be interesting if one of Pop's biggest stars swung both ways, and I would like to see how America's view would change of him.
I heard Lloyd Banks was gay before, but I've also heard a lot about certian rappers sleeping with other guys for protection, not being gay, but doing it for their safety,

I got Alchemist's album last night, and I gotta say I was impressed. This guy's lyrics are real good and I like all the collabs. Pimp Squad and It's A Craze are sick.
Alright time to spark up some convo..how the hell do garbage rappers (Chingy, Nelly, J kwon, etc...) continue to get record deals? It is pathetic, they are killing hip hop. Rappers like 50 cent, Snoop, who are now sell outs, I can tolerate them SOMETIMES because occasionally they put out somthing good, but majority of the time its what the MTV user wants to hear. Will this trend ever die down? or is it going to continue to ruin hip hop for as long as hip hop is around?
Nelly is alright IMO actually. He has some good songs. But I agree, these crap rappers are getting a lot of play time and all, not that the trend will end though, as long as rap remains popular. It's just the way of music, you see the same in rock music too, with Good Charlotte and all.
I told y'all man, Alchemist is sick, I love that Album, and yea those 2 songs are nice. Dead Bodies ft. Game, The Essence, For the Record, and Different Worlds are also good songs, I love For the Record. Different Worlds is cool, I just like the whole theme of that song, overall a real nice Album though.

Look at some of the real good albums this year that don't even get any play or hardly sell because no one knows about them or they aren't mainstream MTV rappers.

N Dey Say- Its about life in general and being appreciative (sp), I can listen to this song even though the Lyrics are pretty weak. Over n Over with Tim McGraw- Dunno what it is about this song, I just like it Luven Me- Its about his mom, his girl, and his boys how they stuck with him and never gave up on him..it is my favorite Nelly song and I still listen to it to this day. Other than that I think his songs are pure garbage...wtf is get your eagle on? I dont want a chick doin an Eagle around me, I want to dance with here, not watch her do the eagle...
