Brief Notes:

<ul>
[*]Seattle silenced the critics by schooling the Timberwolves non-stop through four periods after a loss to the Celtics. Rashard Lewis had an outstanding shooting performance, leading the team with 27 points, "Sixth Man of the early year" Antonio Daniels made his presence felt once again with a 12 points/11 assists gamed off the bench, and the Sonics D held immortal Kevin Garnett to a measly 16 points.
<ul>
[*]Memphis is coming off of a big win of its own. The Grizz stuck it out and beat San Antonio 93-90 on Monday. Bonzi Wells had a big game, scoring 26 points including the game-winning three-point bucket. Lorenzen Wright has been a rebounding presence as of late, he racked up ten boards en route to a double-double versus the Spurs but will be harassed by Reggie Evans and Danny Fortson against Seattle.
<ul>
[*]Memphis is suffering from numerous injuries including an ankle sprain that will sideline productive big man Pau Gasol. With Gasol out, Brian Cardinal will likely get his first start of the season. Whether or not he will be "pWnZorZeD" is yet to be seen. While Mrs. Gasol nurses her ankle, Reggie Evans should be able to find another b****.
<ul>
[*]Ridnour Watch: Luke had another quiet game on Tuesday. He finished with nine points and three assists in 24 minutes of play. He'll face White Chocolate himself, Jason Williams, a man whom he guarded very nicely in their last meeting. All signs point to Ridnour having at least a decent game today. If not, we still have AD on the bench [IMG] .

Haha, a rather humorous insight into the game.

This is the sort of game we would have lost last season - a team without their major scorer/post presence, and we would have choked. This season I think it's different, and unless someone from the Grizz has a standout game (entirely possible), we should come away with the W.

I have critised Rashard Lewis through the summer and last year due to his inconsistant play but this year he has played very well and seems to be putting up good numbers each game. A big reason why Seattle have a 10-2 record.

Ray's shot is off tonight but is 10-10 from the line at the half.

this game just proved that ignorant celtics fan (the one who was saying the sonics always lose when they shoot bad) wrong...well, tonight we shot 4-21 from the 3pt line and still won...thats the difference from previous years, rebounding, getting to the free throw line, good post defense, winners attitude...its about time people start recognizing...

How about that double-double from my man Sweet Lew? He's finally living up to what we all knew he could do. Notch another win on the POWERHOUSE Sonics' belt.

Great game from Luke too, only a single turnover in 38 minutes of court time.

Great win for the Supes (haven't seen the game yet but I'm looking forward to the tape) and a great road trip as well.

5-1 on a six game ten day trip says volumes about the character of this team.

Flip should be placed on the active roster once Seattle returns home. I'm really interested how McMillian plans to use him while we are on this tremendous run.

Show and prove time for #22. :two_thumb

Major kudos to Ray Allen too. Came into the game suffering slight bronchitis, hit his head early in the game and came back in the last quarter after a slight knee sprain, which no doubt gave us a boost when Memphis were making their run.

This Danny Fortson foul situation is getting out of hand. 5 fouls in 11 minutes. I don't think I've ever seen a player more targeted by the refs than Fortson. He almost expects the calls to go against him.

I'm wondering why the officials are making such a point to take Fortson out of his game. I'm glad that he isn't conceding but at the same time he is the anchor to our frontline and needs to get substantial minutes.

I think that Nate should go to bat for Fortson even if it means getting fined. He means too much to this team to be unwarrantly targeted.

He has already complained to Stu Jackson, who has basically ignored his claims that every call goes against Fortson. Nate has spoken out in the media and copped fines on behalf of his players before, maybe he needs to do it again.
