Wade. Shaq is doing exactly what he said he didn't wanna do anymore in LA: laying down for a younger player. Wade is playing incredibly well. Hopefully for the Heat, he can do this consistently and prove that this is his team.
The reason Wade's putting up numbers like this is because Shaq's in the middle. Without Shaq we wouldn't even talk about how great Wade is and all.Better player right now = Wade. More important = Shaq

Right now, he's shooting at 53%...and also, everyone's stats are off-the-wall at the moment, and I'm going to predict that Wade's FG% will drop to 49% for the year. I'm not going to give Shaq all the credit for Wade, because Dwyane is doing this himself. I think one reason why there was so much tension in LA is because alot of the success was put on Shaq's shoulders...and I don't think Phil Jackson cared much for that (although he never said anything about it). If you were responsible for one of the greatest players in the NBA (MJ), then responsible for an SG that some compare to MJ...would you want Shaq to get all the credit, for both that player and the three titles? Van Gundy should keep an eye out for this, and so should Wade. DW is really turning it up this year...and alot of his numbers were pouring in when Shaq was on the bench. Look at the preseason, when Shaq was injured. Wade was astounding. If Shaq misses 20 games this year, you can bet that in those 20, Wade puts up the same (if not better) numbers without him...and it may or may not translate into wins, but this is all about numbers at the moment. In 40 games, we'll be able to tell who this team really belongs to.

If Shaq doesn't average 25-12-2 at the all-star break and D-Wade keeps up putting numbers like this I officially reckon Wade as the go-to guy of the Heat. Shaq might he hampered by that injury, but the way he's moving up and down the court makes me believe he's really getting old, and I think he's starting to realize it himself, and is passing the torch to Dwyane.
Wade is teh future in Miami, Shaq is the time being, I think right now Shaq is more valuable to them just because he is the most dominant player in the game. But if you are talking about for the future it is 100% Wade.
Wade is more valueable statistically but Shaq is more valueable, just his prescence, for now. People should not give all the credit to Shaq for Wade's amazing play so far. It is all Wade and to credit Shaq falsely once again would be degrading his (Wade's) ability as a player. I think Shaq has given him more confidence and is the leader of that team but Dwyane's number are the results of skills and hard-work. You can't just say "he's only doing good because of Shaq", thats bull.
Dwyane WAde is clearly playing better right now. His numbers put him in the MVP race right about now. Right now though Shaq is more valuable to the Heat. For 1) The Heat is full of jump shooters and Shaq creates open looks for these jump shooters. Wade doesnt do that. Shaq and Wade though need to work on thier defense though. Shaq is blocking a lot of shots recently and that is good. Wades defense isn't anything great in it at al l though. I think if Wade was missing a game it isn't as bad as Shaq mising a game because the Heat team is built around Shaq. Pat Riley did a good job of constucting this team. SHaq like I said before creates open shots for these jump shooters. That is the most important thing on this Heat team. Feed the ball to Shaq, if Shaq is doubl teamed pass it to D-Wade or some one with an open 3 who is looking for a shot. I also epect Shaqs points to slowl go up. His other stats right now will stay about the same, but I think his points will definetly get a big boost some wher in the season. I expect him to average 25 or 26 before the seaso nis over.
Hand in hand, like stockton and malone. Ya forgetting the triple teams, and 3 blocks per game. Damn, wade getting blocks like crazy and getting open with his crossover too.
