Guys, we really need to get off of Tyson Chandler's back. He is a guy striaght out of high school, and it takes time for these guys to develop. Reshard Lewis' first breakout year was last year, and he came into the league in 98. Jermaine O'neal was considered a bust in Portland, but now look at him. This year would be Chandler's senior year in college, he is too young and their is too much potential for us to give up on him now. He didn't play that much last year due to injury, so he is still getting used to Skiles system. This is also Chandler's first year of starting a majority of the games he plays. It was supposed to be last year, but then he got injured. High Schoolers have more of a learning curve than guys who come out of college. Lebron James is the exception not the rule. We need to give Tyson at least one more year to prove himself. So please stop bashing him!

O I thought it would be about Eddy Curry. Is he really doing that bad? Is he really the only cause that the Bulls haven't won a game yet? But yeah, pplz get of Tyson. He just gotta take some more shots cause he is shooting pretty well from the field. To bad he's only averaging 7.4ppg, and 24.6 mpg as a starter.

No i gave him his Rookie year to show SOMETHING
I mean the guy was traded for Brand and then selected by the Bulls
why not stand out as a Bull?
The Reason i think most of the other players like O'neal,Garnett,Lewis
is because they had or have a veteran player playing and showing them
how to take those step's on being a good player in the NBA.
Chandler cant look up to anybody for help because they have the
same exact player right next to him (Curry)with no experience in the NBA
I give him to allstar break before the Bulls think about trading him and
Curry to clean up all of Krause's dirty work

He has had some injury problems, but I think most people are hard on him because he was traded for ELTON BRAND...a top 3 PF in the game..big things were expected out of him, I still dont think its time to give up on him but his clock is running down, just like Kwame's and Curry's

Elton Brand is not a top 3 PF...KG, TD, and JO are top 3...he's probably 4th...but that's just personal opinion.

Beyond that point right there, Tyson has had a lot of time. About 2ish (since he didn't play much last year) years to be somewhat exact. And, about slpobks statement, he actually started 68 out of 75 games his second year in the league, so, to say this is first true year starting is false. Now, he is averaging DESCENT numbers of 7.4 ppg and 7.6 rpg. However, he needs to be more aggressive on both ends. He is more than capable of averaging a double double. He's got the talent, he just underachieves. If he were to shoot more, that'd help him, cause, at this moment, he's shooting 57% from the floor, which is phenomenal. So, like I said, he needs to be more aggressive on both ends, cause, again, 7.6 rpg and .78 bpg is not enough for someoen who is 7'1". And one last thing, the kid needs to bulk up. He's a twig. 235 lbs, that's way too small for his size.

I think that is arguable, last year Brand was number 2 or 3 I believe in efficiency rating, its just my opinion though and very arguable..

I think Chandler will be find, he has a nack for defense and rebounding, that alone will get him far in the league. He has the ability to have a decent offensive game, just give him some more time, not everyone develops on time.

He's shooting 57% because 57% of his "shots" made are dunks. To let Chandler "shoot" more would be a travesty to the art of shooting. He's not good at it and he has very little post moves. And he has added bulk. I have even noticed it. He said he added around 25 lbs or so. He indeed does look bigger. But if he was to get any bigger, I think it would slow him down. You are right, he is averaging decent numbers. I just see Chandler out there and he looks so discombobulated. It's obvious that he's not going to turn into a Kevin Garnett, or Jermaine O'neal. I think if we knew Chandler OR Curry were going to be special, they would have showed it by now. I do, however, also believe Chandler is capable of averaging doublea double. That is it though.

Dont get me wrong Chandler is my favorite Chicago Bull, but he has been a disappointment to me so far. He is a top pick who averages 7 points a game and for a player that is 7 feet tall and only gets 7 rebounds a game thats pretty bad. He may have come straight out of high school, but he as been around 4 years now 4 years that in my opinion would have been better spent in college. Truth is it was a mistake trading Brand for him.

Im not arguing that, all I am saying is that we have him now, and we need to support him.

I agree with you you support or should support your teams players until the end. He is still relatively young so why boo him it will only lower his confidence. All you can do is hope he pulls through as of this point although I am a fan of his I dont think we should boo him, but I dont think we should baby him and support him because he is getting paid good money to do a job.
