<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Dalembert, who seemed on the verge of a breakout season last year, has been limited to backing up starter Marc Jackson at center so far this year. Jackson is averaging 13.0 points (second on the team), 5.8 rebounds and 27.1 minutes; Dalembert is averaging 4.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 20.2 minutes. Jackson has three blocked shots in 271 minutes, compared to Dalembert's seven in just 121 minutes. In Sunday's 93-83 loss to the Heat, O'Brien played Jackson 35 minutes and Dalembert just 13. Considering Dalembert's athleticism and shot-blocking abilities, O'Brien realizes that he should probably alter those numbers. That's what he said he plans to do starting with tonight's home game against the Celtics. "I might be the guy that is struggling unnecessarily with what Sammy gives us," O'Brien said. "Sammy is an instinctive player. Too many times, I might let one or two mistakes that Sammy makes to unnecessarily change his minutes.</div> <div align="center">Link</div> Good news for fantasy basketball owners who have Dalembert on their team but most importantly good news for the 76ers. Heading into this season Dalembert was a hot commodity, but his inability to learn O'Brien defensive scheme put the anticipation that surrounded around him to a halt. However, it seems as if he is going to be getting more minutes according to Jim O'Brien. The more minutes he see the better he has a chance of retaining his starting role once again. The 76ers are 2nd to last in BPG in the league I believe. Dalembert lack of playing time is primarily the reason why that is the case. So when or shall I say if Dalembert does indeed get more playing time, expect the 76ers to go up drastically in BPG and most notably RPG and it should also certainly put a smile on fantasy basketball owners face. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Update: Korver may be in the starting lineup again Wednesday against the Celtics. Coach Jim O'Brien noted that the team is plus-45 in the last five games when Korver is on the court, the Philadelphia Inquirer reports.</div> <div align="center">Link</div> They're praising Kyle Korver day-by-day. And whether or not he starts for the 76ers, he has a major role on this team according to Jim O'Brien and will be getting a lot of minutes.
Good news on SD, I'm glad and he could definitely contribute the more face time he gets on the court.
Who are they going to start Korver for Green or Iguodala? I hope it's not Iggy, if so Korver will have his hands full all night with Pierce. Finally, Dalembert is going to see more playing time, it kills me when I see someone with that much shotblocking ability and so much athleticism sitting on the bench. Marc Jackson isn't playing that bad though. Also where is our #1 free agent pickup Brian Skinner?!? 12 minutes per game, averaging 2.3 ponits?!? If we start playing Dalembert more then Skinner's playing time can't go up. I really don't think it matters who starts for us, we are so deep that the 6th man will get the same ammount of playing time as the person that he is backing up, example; Korver is getting 29 minutes per game where Iguodala is getting 30.
Good question, where IS Brian SKinner, did BIlly King make another stupid mistake of signing a player into a big contract and as it turns out they're not as good? I hope not, why don't they put Skinner in for THomas now becuase THomas is struggling??
