Thanks. Yahoo Preview:
Quote:

The Miami Heat need not worry about their latest loss. Their next game is against a team from the Eastern Conference. The Heat will try to improve to 8-0 against teams from their conference when they take on the struggling Atlanta Hawks. Miami has had little trouble scoring against the East, averaging 104.4 points in its seven wins. The Heat will likely be relieved to see the Hawks following Tuesday's 99-87 loss to Portland. The Heat shot just 37.5 percent from the floor in the second half and were outrebounded 41-36 overall in losing for the fourth time in five games against the Western Conference. ``The effort wasn't there for us at the defensive end,'' Heat coach Stan Van Gundy said. ``We were absolutely crushed on the boards again, and I have to take responsibility for that. There were times when we looked hesitant and unsure.'' Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade combined for 36 points on 10-of-23 shooting, but the rest of the Heat shot just 36.9 percent for the game. Udonis Haslem, who entered the game with the league's third-best field goal percentage (.568), missed his first 11 shots, including a dunk, and finished 3-for-17.
Get your preds in early.
wow right now i checked the live score and its like 38-37 or sometin. lol CMON HEAt! They got to beat Atlanta, or they suck. I'm watching the Cavs game and the Sixers game on my TV so I prolly won't be checking the live score every so often.

Wow these refs are handing Atlanta the game. It's pathetic really, it'll be a shame if ATL doesn't win this game.
They are having a tough game as we speak. I figured this would be an easy win for them and would raise their spirits after last nights loss. This just shows numbers don't mean anything in a real live situation. The refs are basically giving it to them. If the Heat come back I will be very, very, very surprised. Refs can ruin everything.
Yo this game is a real nail biter. After 3 qtrs Miami finally got it's act together and as forced ATL to turn it over and started knocking down its shots.
Big game from Udonis Haslem, he shot 8-13 from the Field 5-6 FT for 21pts tying his career high but needs to pick up on his boards, he only had 8. He also had 2 dimes 1 block and 1 steal. I thougth he did better on the steals and assists though... Then there's Dwyane Wade...what can I say? Another phenominal game getting 31pts on 12-17 FG 5-6 FT shooting 8boards, 11 assists, and 2 blocks Shaq was 8-10 FG 5-9 FT for 21pts had 9 boards 2 blocks and 1 dime but his presence alone gave us wiiiiiiiide open shots. BTW did anyone see that bad a-- block by Wade to stop the fast break? OG if you have a cap card can you cap it?
Dwyane Wade is just amazing. That block...was just phenomenal. I forgot who it was that tried to dunk, but he had like atleast 4 or so inches on Wade and was about to throw it down but Wade cuffed it in the air and threw it back down. He's playing just phenomenally. Much respects to him and a great win for the Miami Heat.

Who did Wade block anyway? I would like to see a video too if any one haas it.
The block was on Jelani McCoy. OGmAXiFY if you read this please try capping the block
BTW those 21pts was a career high for Haslem (he reached 20pts twice before). Also I gotta give big ups to Atlanta, they played an excellent 3 qtrs and really did a good job of staying ahead of Miami. Next game is Friday against Detroit what could well be a preview of the Eastern Conference Finals. Should be a very good game.
Unfortunately, I wish I was back in south florida to see the games, but I'm at FSU...can't get any games except for nationally televised ones....not this time guys...I look for it on sportscenter

Wade is a slasher, he's no jumpshooter, with all these shooters opening up the lane for him, he can even shoot 50% from the field. I mean he could've possibly done it last year if he didn't keep getting injured, he had like a streak of 18 or something games shooting over 50%, and he's a freaking PG.
Better beleive it, great game by the team, and Wade just played amazing, we haven't played too many really "challenging teams" yet, but if we can play well against some of the Western "big teams", then it's a good sign. I'd like to see a matchup against Phoenix.

Others that are doing well is Cleveland, Washington, Milwaukee (3-1 the first time we faced em). NJ and ATL are the only teams we've faced that are no real threats.
